Given Wrath has been garnering an in with the Necromancers, I can see him attempting to go that way with in case the owl doesn't work out assuming he knows others are going that way (covering all the bases), asking a disciple for information about the best place to go while pretending to not be affected by the poison himself. Can't appear weak. : ')
