Mingyu's beautiful charge, the niece of a certain Sa-Hareth madame, has proven a remarkable hit with the enthusiastic suitors of Taravast. Several approach her with propositions — including one besotted gentleman of middling means who begs her to flee Taravast and return to her relations abroad, claiming that unrest in the streets is mounting and the gentry are unlikely to be safe long-term.

In light of the aforementioned civil situation, the good gentleman fears a fine lady of court such as Tamaiu's niece might be caught up in crossfire, should tempers continue escalating. Obviously, she reports this back, startled, to Mingyu and/or Fox.
