■ We go to bed at 9pm. Yes, all of us.
■ We wake up at 5am. Yes, all of us.
■ We do not speak when we eat.
■ We do not lie, gossip, run around the house, speak ill of others, prove careless and indifferent, unwise and cowardly, associate with evil, covet wealth, lust, entertain immodesty, stray from virtue, grow impatient, disrespect our elders, our betters, our fellows or those weaker than us, consume more than three bowls for each meal.
■ We need not all be vegetarian, but no one is consuming spice.
■ We practise meditation and exercise our bodies each and every single day.

ANCESTRAL CURSE PLANS?
Bereft the good fortune of her friends, a beautiful woman decided to wed elder, oft sickly men and give them a... gentle nudge towards their demise, until she became a repeatedly merry, wealthy widow.
...so, I'm thinking he will either try to make amends by returning wealth to the descendants of the murdered husbands, or he'll donate money to true widows in need. Either way, he needs coin, and he's... never worked a day in his life.
...anyone got some marketable skills he can learn?
GENERAL PLANS:
■ Fox weddings! Anything spiritual is his brand.
■ He'll want a partner to investigate the dark waters.
■ He needs to look into the trafficking, but as a first step, I think he'd like to understand the forest grounds and the creepy mouths of hell first.
■ Why do locals think this mountain is a stairwell to the heavens????
