CHARACTER FAMILY #6: Marcos is fine with whatever story they want to come up with. They're a normal family who are just here for the culture. He'll at least initially help to get them situated, he's no stranger to setting up temporary camps.
ANCESTRAL CURSE PLANS? Marcos is tasked with atoning for a handsome man who offered sex to admirers for a favor, and instead had his actual lover help rob or murder them for their own gain. Humans are just the worst sometimes. Marcos won't have a great idea of how to atone for him, so he'll start out finding the roads that they would have taken and try to make them safer, and offer to escort any travelers among them in case there are still any bandits around. He'll also donate whatever coin he has left to people in need.
He's going to be cursed with SLOTH. That curse is the opposite of how he is normally, so it will have a noticeable impact if it goes on for long. He's usually made of empathy and wants to take action etc. though he does have it in him to be cruel and I haven't played with that yet. Anyway, we'll see how that goes.
GENERAL PLANS: VAGUE PLANS. As far as the ship, after the storm breaks Marcos will be around to help repair things. He's great at welding and will volunteer to patch holes and what-have-you.
Until/unless the curse gets the best of him, Marcos will be looking out for the group and providing any useful knowledge he has from running safe houses. And aside from keeping an eye on the people he's closest to, as soon as he's aware of the undead being supplied with fresh legions he'll be bringing it up with everyone he talks to. Very triggering to this mutant, okay. He'll support anyone who wants to figure out how to end it.
You also might catch him praying more often and pulling out the Santa Muerte medallion nightly for protection, because he's... never been cursed before. Ahah. It's pretty upsetting.
