I think it would imply an element of, "X has alerted the group via network about Y" without the player having to go through the show and dance of a whole post.

If you've got a concrete different proposal, though — definitely happy to have it, we're not married to this one or anything like that.

But I feel we do need, at this point, outright proposals, because we'll be at standstill otherwise.
