Okay -- I admit, the word alive gave me a different understanding initially but I think 'isn't undead or decaying' is honestly enough to give Wrathion the 'it's preserved' understanding of alive anyway, if he's like... holding it in his hand, and he already knows it's been around a while with all these pirates chasing it down and thus hasn't deteriorated. So I think it all balances out anyway.
