THEIR ONE-SENTENCE ELEVATOR PITCH: Hurt Person Causes More Hurt, Disguises Problems By Being Handsome: Draconic edition.
A PET PEEVE THAT GETS THEIR TEETH GRITTING: Talk down to him and it's War. Dismiss him and it's double war.
WHAT SPARKS THEIR JOY: Talk to him like he's important. Praise him! Use his actual title. Also: be pragmatic, be smart! Be interesting.
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO? Employing children to spy and bring him information. That's fine. He's paying them! They need money! It works! Don't think too hard about it, child labour is fine sometimes.
CR/SCENARIOS YOU WANT: Honestly I need some comedic threads where people have mixed reaction to his employing the Mouse House children. They need jobs! They need money! He thought everyone wanted to fund the Mouse House there's no need to be dramatic.
I also would like to build up some stronger CR with him. I love talking shop, and so does he, but that doesn't do much to progress him personally. Given the chance he will absolutely keep everything from being about him, because vulnerability is dangerous, but given we're in dead baby dragon territory I feel as if I may as well embrace the chance to try and have him handle some trauma. There are... makes a gesture, Content Warnings there but if anyone is interested ranking up friendship with Wrathion and exploring trauma let me know. It can't veer too gentle sympathy or he'll take it as pity and shut down, but he would probably benefit from talking about it. There are probably free clothing items in it!
(... This is a Warcraft joke. High reputation with him gets you a box of cloaks in game, currently. Because you have to dress properly to meet the Black Prince -- ANYWAY.)
I've also been slightly on the fence this arc with all its undead/dead animation and fuckery going on if I should let the fact that he's technically a chimera (he's... two dragons, and some other bits of dragon, smashed together with magic) come to light. Potentially if it was noticeable someone should have already noticed, but if anyone is interested in this happy to offer it as a hook we can work out. I don't know where I'm going with it, tbh, but it's on his traumatic backstory list and it's a card I haven't played yet.
On a lighter note: Making things! In between all the trauma, it's fun to have him use his actual skillset sometimes too. If anyone wants enchanted items made (jewellery! Weapons! Cloaks!) or just fancy clothing, this dragon is apparently good at that kind of thing. It's probably good for him to have the distraction, too, and it's a good excuse to google up your dream items and all also, a neat CR hook to have an item made by another player or something IDK. I just like inventing things.
Equally: fellow enthusiastic mystery solvers! Wrathion enjoys puzzling things out, and he does like to talk shop, so even though I don't want it to be ALL his CR I do like collecting people he can bounce off.
