And, if I manage to unscramble my brain, he could try to appeal to Lady Arabella for orchestrating mass production, since he helped save her life and has interacted with her a few times since.
So he is available for sweet-talking you way in securing locales, supplies and such. he also has a substantive amount of money at his disposal for bribes and/or acquiring stuff that is needed.
