I couldn't see this on the most recent post, I'm sorry if I missed it!

• For those who get canon updated, how long are they gone for after passing through the beacon? Are they expelled instantaneously, or after a few minutes, or longer? Must know for ~maximum CR drama~.
• Are the character who aren't getting canon updated (but would ICly choose to use it) just not able to get into the beacon before it fades, or are they expelled as well?
