Listen he may no longer be your first choice of co-conspirator Wangji but he's also not allowed anywhere near any royals without somebody taking notice and slapping him in irons so

if you need him to cause a commotion with his existence to help facilitate a kidnapping, or provide a ghostly snoop to check the coast is clear, or any other form of support, he's all about saving the children.
