It doesn't seeeeeeeem like there's much for me to thread out here, but it should probably be noted that Jon reacts to this offer with obvious distaste and, once he goes to deliver it, seems reluctant to do so in terms of actually spitting it out, handing it over, etc (assuming he knows the contents).
