It's a big thematic element of her chapters and character. BLOOD MAGIC: Oh yes. Dany is connected to blood magic, not only because of her Valyrian blood, but also her own actions. She attempted blood magic to save Khal Drogo and then performed it successfully when she sacrificed Mirri Maz Dhur. It's how she birthed her dragons from stone eggs.
