Have you watched the Netflix series? They really nailed the casting for the characters and the series is just as strong and in some instances stronger than the books, and I love the books!!

I'm okay with hitting the ground running if only because it will help Lockwood learn and learn quickly that the rules he's used to from home do NOT apply here. But I am also okay with drawing it out a bit if you think that would be an interesting angle to explore?
