Heya, happy nearly-Ghoultober! Quick note, as you enjoy the Senate session: we'll be extending the submission deadline for threads turn-ins (politicians & gladiators alike) to Oct. 2.
Separately, just wanted to quickly check in ahead of the regular Oct. 1 AC & admin post that'll have more calendar dates. As you know, Eastbound was slated for a two-three-year lifespan, and the end of that range is coming in fairly soon in March.
Doing the math: the Ephes Arc is scheduled to have roughly three events, and it'll be followed by a single or two-part event travel arc and a two-three-event final arc. The exact timeline is a little harder to estimate, since we have to adjust to the pace of clue discovery, and there are the winter holidays to consider — but on a preliminary basis, we're looking at a bit over four more months to go from October. That would imply a roughly January/possibly early February wrap, give or take.
What this means concretely:
- Immediate effect: ...not much!
Plot & mystery development: some 85% of all outstanding plot questions are set to be resolved in the Ephes Arc — you can carry on investigating the local mysteries & knocking at the door of the NPC inbox as usual, to get those answers — everyone welcome!
Applications: we'll have a final test drive meme next week and a regular application round in October. A last application round will take place later, without a TDM.
Activity requirements: remain unchanged throughout. Not one to worry about until we enter endgame with the final Arc, but, on this side, the recommendation would be to give honest thought if you can be available when things should be pretty action-packed. The plan is to go out as we have unlived, with a bang.
Thanks, guys!
