there actually was some light summoning toward the end of emilia's book*! it was with her amulet as a conduit, which she doesn't have anymore, but i do believe it's something she should be able to do regardless/without it someday... the sequel should be giving me more answers (i am waiting not-so-patiently for october five).

it would give me so many feelings. i may already be having them. both their storylines are so rooted in grief and i feel like it's almost impossible to understand some aspects of it unless you're twin yourself. LET'S DO THIS.

*let's also ignore the fact she summoned something much bigger like a demon of war.
