WHERE DO ZOMBIES FIND YOU DURING THE APOCALYPSE? Hiding likely up high where the zombies cannot get me as easily. Channeling my inner Clementine.

WHO THEY ARE, THE ONE-LINE ELEVATOR PITCH: probably Satan (will know more in 3 days! but definitely Prince of Hell/Prince of Wrath/one of the Wicked/demon/associated with death)
THEIR TARAVAST #TEAM: Macaluso, but he doesn't like the guy
WHAT ARE THEY GETTING UP TO THIS FINE OCTOBER?

Primarily, he's continuing to train his disciples in the Necromancy District. He is also continuing his search for the way to help Vannozza with her affliction aka how she's possessed by death itself. He knows a lot about summoning and warding shit, but this particular affliction is new to him. Otherwise just exploring including exploring the tombs on a lil field trip.

Otherwise, he is likely following near/checking in on Emilia, disliking her many suitors, and sorting out his complicated feelings about returning home aka returning to hell one day.

ICE BREAKER ROUNDS:

i. An unfortunate crime has taken been committed. By your character. How do they get away with murder? Very easily. He's inhumanly fast and strong and would not leave DNA evidence behind nor could his DNA be tied to anyone, because he is not human.

ii. What reasonable accessible thing or service can your character be bribed with? Information is the most important one - information about magic, about the rest of Taravast, about this world itself, about magic of any and every kind. Delicious food but specifically Emilia's cooking because he doesn't trust anything else to not be poisoned.

iii. In a world where justice actually exists, how often would your character get slapped by noon? Likely several times. He is very polite. As a demon, they have manners, and Wrath especially abides by them, but he is also a demon so. He is a violent strategist who is harsh and worthy of slaps.

THREE TYPES OF CR YOUR WANT FOR YOUR CHARACTER (BE SPECIFIC), GO:
-Magic users/those that deal with death in general/have died before: He can sense magic, death, demons due to his experience, and he is interested in all of the above. If you're cool with him sensing it about your character, it can be a starting point for a thread on its own.

-Other people who are looking into what is going on with Vannozza or who may have insight into a possession via death itself or possessions that then result in physical afflictions.

-Friends/frenemies really??? It would be interesting, and he kind of has friends in his canon- or at least one friend who he also extended a blood bargain to and is within his House/under his employ. But like good luck honestly cause he has never been human at all so making friends with him is not easy.

WHAT CAN YOUR CHARACTER UNIQUELY AND PG-13-INGLY OFFER? Violence, philosophical talks about life/death/etc because he's ancient as fuck, he likes to make deals because that's how demons operate especially princes of hell (everything has a cost), unintentional increases in angry feelings when you're near him (totally up to you if you want to play with that), he's also pretty good at knowing when someone is lying to him/reading body language/reading dark emotions in other people, magical knowledge/knowledge about curses/death/life/etc, he's full of all of the above, but it doesn't come for free generally speakign.

I just wanted to come and say that I'm really enjoying them and their burgeoning friendship. I don't have specific things that I want as of yet, but I feel like maybe they have tea together sometimes when they need to share info between teams and it's all very polite and well mannered.

Yess, I'm really enjoying them as well! I think they're awesome, and I can absolutely see this. He also stumbled into realizing that Five is unaware of the threatening Vannozza did about Allison. He didn't mention it to Five as he didn't want to get in the middle of it, and he assumed there was a reason for it (like Five probably jumping to murder as his solution)/it wasn't his secret to tell.

She appreciates that Wrath, because she's waiting on Diego to decide whether or not he's going to tell Five.

I'm sure this will be fine, and not cause any complications at all.

So.... can he sense gods because Xie Lian is a god.

he also is insanely powerful but he has two curse marks on his body limiting that that can probably also be felt to people sensitive to that.

I would imagine that yes, he absolutely could sense a god. None ever show up in the first book, but given his ancientness and the fact he was likely (possibly) an angel before himself, I'd say he definitely could. He's also real familiar with curses/being cursed. :' ) SO he would probably be able to sense both of these things, which could lead to fun conversations!

Xie Lian doesn't actually hide it and he explains readily if asked, it just rarely comes up in conversation.

Also, his cooking is so bad it does harm other gods, ghosts and demons. That's not actually a supernatural power tho, he just sucks at it.

Slick's still trying to figure out what Wrath's deal is. Seems nice enough, but also makes him want to burn things? Very weird.

Haha, listen, his existing nearby can only unintentionally increase angry feelings you are already, currently feeling, Slick. So y'know... you might just have a lot of anger in ya already. But yes, I need them to thread again!
