Ancient Greek Warrior of Legend? Ftw?

Riddle here with my second boy (Jin Guangyao/Meng Yao being the first). This is Achilles from the book The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller.

“Name one hero who was happy."
I considered. Heracles went mad and killed his family; Theseus lost his bride and father; Jason's children and new wife were murdered by his old; Bellerophon killed the Chimera but was crippled by the fall from Pegasus' back.
"You can't." He was sitting up now, leaning forward.
"I can't."
"I know. They never let you be famous AND happy." He lifted an eyebrow. "I'll tell you a secret."
"Tell me." I loved it when he was like this.
"I'm going to be the first." He took my palm and held it to his. "Swear it."
"Why me?"
"Because you're the reason. Swear it."
"I swear it," I said, lost in the high color of his cheeks, the flame in his eyes.
"I swear it," he echoed.
We sat like that a moment, hands touching. He grinned.
"I feel like I could eat the world raw.”

It is a beautiful book and I can't recommend it highly enough. Plot wise, if you've read the Illiad, you know how it goes, however Miller chooses to follow Patroclus and Achilles (from boyhood to Troy). A-awesome...!!!! I haven't read his canon, but I HAVE read The Illiad (like literally I just finished last week), so I am very excited. ...And sad my character is rather useless with this knowledge.

It's such a heartbreaking book, but it gives a whole new perspective to the Illiad. I'm a lit nerd, so I enjoy new takes on legends/myths.

As for Achilles himself, he might end up being a good friend to Alayne if you're up for it?

I'm super up for it, if they get along! We shall see~ She's gonna be amused at him rarin' to go to war, while everyone else is scuttling around behind the scenes (including her). CHILL, ACHILLES. Here boy, listen to a song to calm that bloodlust.

Get him to sing for you, Alayne. He has a fantastic voice and he's skilled with his lyre. That would distract him for a little while. 8( Unfortunately he will always be a blunt hot-head.

TIME TO START A BAND. But actually I am pretty sure that a handsome dude singing will give her war flashbacks omg, lmao... Awkward history there... So of course, I mean, do it. She will try not to cringe.
