For science, what would happen if Wrath were to kill an animal and then just watch over it/keep it near for awhile to see what happens? Would it return to life at the start of the cycle like those dying from old age, or remain killed?

Just digging back -- I'm assuming at the end of their conversation about tea etc somewhere in that Wrathion gave his name and Hermione would have then worked out he's the person who explained herbs down to her on the network, and likewise Wrathion would have worked out who she is. Would she have mentioned it at all? Mostly so I know the vibe he's approaching her with, like if he believe she's annoyed about it or if he's still completely oblivious. On his side she probably would have picked up quickly as soon as he made the connection that Wrathion had zero idea anything he said might be insulting and was probably still curious if she'd made any progress.

I think it sounds reasonable that they will have introduced themselves. Hermione was raised properly and in Taravast at least, her strategy was: 1. talk someone's ear off about something, 2. "Oh, I'm Hermione Granger."
So he will have learned her name, absolutely. Following that they can have a Spiderman-points-at-Spiderman moment about having spoken on the network.
(Sidebar, she will be very.../sideeyes about the eyes, my dude. What's up with that.)

And she made progress in the end, having managed to brew some potions by the end of our tenure in Taravenice. It's all in her bottomless bag - he can ask ;)

I'm 100% down for a 4-way witch group exploring brochures together. also for the two of them as well. They can talk about how nice the wine was in Taravast and how they'll likely never have wine again because life's like this sometimes.

Maybe we can make a collective request from the mod about what info can be gleaned from those waterlogged leaflets? I think Hermione would try to do some mending spell on one of them and see if anything gets restored.

We could always assume it was mentioned lightly (her brewing potions), then combine talking about her success with the things in Taravast with herb-hunting in the deadlands of Ellethia for the Widow’s Yearning? Maybe their discussion at the party got cut short by one of them being called away, maybe Wrathion to his group of enthusiastic but inept locals who wanted to help him rescue Macaluso lmao.
