I'm sorry just to clarify, are you saying that the maps show a lighthouse in Allayar but not Hamsour, that both cities had their own lighthouses on the map, or was the map just of Allayar and not of Hamsour?

Hi — the map is of pre-sundered Ellethia. They only show one lighthouse, in the region corresponding to the current Allayar.

Would Eleven glean any strange impressions from the flora anywhere around Ellethia? Just vibing with some overgrown plants, making vaguely curious spiritual noises at trees while he meditates and takes in the flush of Life like a sponge.

What kind of impressions are you thinking of? Like, sentience?

Admittedly, he'd be prodding the trees/notably impressive plants for any sense of awareness, but generally no, not sentience (UNLESS??), but just like anything that might feel notably different from normal plant life.

Where normal plants are just vague impressions of growth, sunlight, hydration, soil- or lack thereof for things not thriving.

Like if the plants are thriving in spite of subpar conditions, or if they're maybe growing as a result of something magical rather than natural- those would be strange impressions.

Right, okay — I'm admittedly still not 100% sure what would or wouldn't register based on Eleven's unique skillset, but to give this a crack: they'd feel like regular plants, but experiencing a more accelerated life cycle. There is definitely no awareness/sentience, and there's no magical print.

No worries- it's a developing skill expanded from communing with Yggdrasil roots and things for a more druidic leaning. Plant vibing. I didn't really expect he'd sense anything, but figured I'd ask.

Before I reply to point this out to a character, I just want to ask to clarify:

"In some manicured gardens, flowers have overtaken hundreds of newer stone plates bearing local names and the marker, Truth Bows Only to the Sun."

Those local names were like. Peoples' names, right? Like as in grave markers? Or am I reading that all wrong haha
