Hi everyone! eastbound stirred from undeath as roughly the world's tiniest game a year ago, and it's all down to everyone's enthusiasm, sleuthing and morbid sense of humour that it's still alive, sometimes braying and kicking.

FORTUNE FAVOURS THE DEAD


A bevy of aggressive, loud and gregarious fortune tellers has inundated Ke-Waihu, seeking to exercise their... gifts for coin before departing by sea. To spread the word, they hand out a few free, unsolicited fortunes to hapless bystanders:

i. List your character(s), one per comment, and one or more funny, outlandish or depressing fortunes they've been told ( 'You will marry a six-headed frog by midnight,' 'A stubborn infant will bring your end with a toothpick'... )

ii. Comment around to help with, sympathise, or... point and laugh at everyone else's (mis)fortune. Spam vigorously.

iii. Up to you & your thread partner, if you want to make these conversations game canon and ice break some CR!

[The teeth against his lips sends a small shock of sensation through him. Zishu groans and then huffs as he is spun, keeping his footing only because he rarely ever loses it. The hands on his back feel good and he arches into them, his eyes falling closed.]

You're still teasing me.

[ He chuckles and slips his arms around his beloved, nuzzling those shoulder blades with a low hum. ]

Maybe you should punish me for being naughty.

[Feeling Kexing warm and solid behind him makes that suggestion difficult. Zishu leans back and laughs at himself.]

By doing what? Withholding myself from you? That punishes me too.

[flirtatiousdancer]

[ He grins and rests his cheek against his soulmate's shoulder, arms snuggling Zishu close. ]

I don't want you to pull away.

[He is hopeless. And happier than he has ever been.]

Why? Do you desire me, perhaps, Lao Wen?

[flirtatiousdancer]

[ They both are. Kexing nuzzles and kisses just behind his love's ear. ]

I told you, A-Xu. I always want you. I always need you.

[eternallywandering]

My ego needed to hear that. [Zishu purrs and presses back, grinding himself against his beloved.] You are doing well.

[flirtatiousdancer]

[ He laughs and rubs himself against his beloved, nibbling on that lovely neck. ]

Can I have you? Or shall I give myself to you again and again?

[eternallywandering]

[Pretending to think, his eyes lid and he turns his head to press a kiss to Kexing's lips.]

Both. You can have me, but I can have you too.

[flirtatiousdancer]

[ He presses into that kiss with a needy moan. ]

Yes. Where?

[eternallywandering]

[Heat rushes through him and he swallows with difficulty.]

Come with me. [Zishu tugs away - only to capture Kexing's hand and lead him to the edge of the village. He needs sanctuary from the chaos and has built himself a small enclosure between some trees. There is a blanket laid out inside of said enclosure - just enough to soften the ground.]

[ Kexing pulls back slowly with a smirk, and lets himself be led without further question or comment. He grins when he sees the comfy retreat and stretches out on the blanket before starting to wiggle free of his clothes. ]

[The wiggling makes him laugh and he kneels on the blanket before copying his husband. His features soften when he is bare and he lays himself beside his beloved.]

You can have me.

[ He loves Zishu's laugh. It warms him right to his toes! He beams at his beloved, openly admiring the body that is slowly revealed to him. His smile softens at the permission and he settles on his side before starting to press loving little kisses over the marks that mar Zishu's body. ]

[Kexing's smile makes everything okay; it makes life worthwhile. And Zishu certainly isn't immune to that wandering gaze either! He blushes to the tips of his ears, praying he is to his beloved's liking.]

I haven't changed much. [His skin looks healthier and the wounds are nothing more than scars. Zishu stares, amazed, as Kexing kisses the ugliness. He feels...accepted.]

[ His liking is obvious! Kexing nuzzles where the nails had been, one hand stroking over a bare hip before he presses a lingering kiss over his beloved's heart. ]

You look healthier now that you've been eating better.

[ He lifts up to claim a kiss from those soft lips, gazing peacefully into his beloved's eyes. ]

Do I? [The news has him looking down at himself - just in time to see Kexing nuzzling against him. His breath catches and he moans, curling around his soulmate.]

Your cooking can help anyone.

[A kiss that is deepened with a groan. Zishu then covers Kexing's face in more of the same.]

I spoke to your new housemate.

[flirtatiousdancer]

[ He hums in agreement and presses close, relishing the heat from his beloved. Tangling their legs together, he strokes over all he can reach of Zishu's enticing body.

Only to pout at the sudden comment. ]

I still think he's a face-stealer.

[He lets himself be manipulated however Kexing likes. Grinning under the stroking, he kisses the bridge of his beloved's nose.

Before looking perplexed.]

A face-stealer? What have I missed? I did not actually see him in person.

[ He tucks himself in against his beloved, nuzzling in and breathing in his comforting scent. ]

He looks like Lan Wangji.

[eternallywandering]

[Blinking in shock, he peers at his Lao Wen curiously. Is he teasing him somehow? But that doesn't make sense. Kexing would surely tease him some other way. This is just...odd!]

Truly? He doesn't sound like him at all.

[ Kexing just huffs. ]

Doesn't act like him either. They just look exactly the same.

I guess that proves that we come from different worlds. [Though is there more to it than that?] I have heard mention of different dimensions, but I'd rather not contemplate that.
