Just a small heads up that some of our newbies will not be physically with the cast at sea, and will instead be working hard to secure entry for the incomers into the main Arc IV location, Serthica. But they'll be available on the network throughout!

THEIR ONE-SENTENCE ELEVATOR PITCH: Reckless space Captain looks great while doing crazy shit.

THE SAME PITCH, BUT IT'S AN ENTHUSIASTIC FRIEND HOOKING THEM WITH A BLIND DATE: He's fun, crazy, ridiculously good-looking. You're in for a great time you (probably) won't regret.

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER RUIN FAMILY DINNER? By burning the food in his attempt to help cook, most likely. Or by arriving late because of work.

THEIR TV TROPE: Probably all the romantic ones.

WHAT CAN YOUR CHARACTER BRING TO THE TABLE? He's a great leader, he can fight and he can talk his way out of seriously shitty situations, he'll leap in to help anyone, and he's (surprisingly to most) an Actual Genius. He may just be your average squishy human but he's not going to let that stop him from doing what needs to be done. Alas, he cannot make a killer pie (unless you mean a pie that may or may not kill people... accidentally).

WHAT ARE THEY UP TO? He commandeered one of the ships with a small crew, so he's sort of living his best Captain life, within the realm of possibility considering he can't even shave or have a proper bath. He's going to take a one-hour shower once he can get his hands on running water, just saying.

CR/SCENARIOS YOU WANT: More friends, allies, people he doesn't quite see eye to eye with or people who think he's too idealistic. Younger people for him to possibly mentor and teach some stuff to? All here for drinking buddies, sparring buddies, and friends with benefits.

I HAVE REALLY BEEN ENJOYING their thread on Jim's post where Anduin has been doing so much infodumping on him, I am so sorry...

I feel like they could be very interesting friends though!! Jim being a space captain from the future, Anduin being a teenage priest/king from a fantasy realm... It's perfect!

Plus they are both blond, blue-eyed, and handsome. Win/win??

YES please! Allison is my favorite Hargreeves, I was so excited to see her in game!! And I'd absolutely love more things with the two of them, whether it's just hitting the town or poking around and potentially getting into trouble.

I owe y'all a tag, but mostly I love Kirk's ability to just nod along at absurdity, because that's Lan Wangji 99% of the time, and they'll probably get along great just going, "Yep, these idiots sure did just do a thing, let's please get them out of trouble."

MOSTLY I'm thinking they might need................... Kirk or someone else from his band who can help guide the Red Rooster (the vessel Lan Wangji's group commandeered) into Serthica. So, expect an inbox comment of... awkward... pleading over the next few days, while I get my shit together.

Lan Wangji hasn't even been the most absurd he has seen since arriving here so he's just like 'you know what.... sure yeah, okay. that makes perfect sense'. But yeah, also right there with him on the whole damage control.

And yes, please feel free to hit Jim up if they need help with navigation on their journey to Serthica!! Jim's got an excellent and surprisingly capable navigator (considering she's only used to navigation in space and not on sea). They're... doing great, somehow??

Moran and Kirk are clearly off to a great start, Moran is also sort of a genius in his own way, and also he has mentored an emperor onto the throne (even though he is, like, 26 shhhh. Things happened ok.)

Look, Jim knows all about premature life achievements. He became Captain at 25, the youngest in Starfleet history, so that seems perfectly reasonable to him.

Spoiler : Xie Lian's cooking is so bad, it can knock out martial artists, make gods literally lose their punctuation and kill some low level-ghosts. That bad.

I know I am tagging out so late, but I've really enjoyed threading with Kirk and Marcos! So I hope to do more of that. He's a good guy and appreciates Kirk's vibe, would buy him a drink.

And you know Five has roped Una into his 'fix my time traveling briefcase' situation, so they will probably cross paths soon. If he steals your space friends to do complicated math don't worry about it.
