Yeah uh so she's a witch with a curse that functions like a chronic/mental illness, also a criminal, and she has acquired some kids along the way. 8D

Vanessa's 'curse', or possession/visions, also manifests as a psychosis in Vanessa. It's a pretty big story beat, so that's a thing, too. Not something she would readily share, but who knows what the future holds!

She'll be interested any time she discovers another witch, especially to find out if they're Daywalkers (good ones) or Nightcomers (bad ones).

pffff good luck categorizing Eda then xD she is chaos personified, but as mentioned, also very much A Mom

also her world categorizes witches into Covens and Wild Witches (those who do not belong to a coven, generally maligned for no reason other than the Evil Emperor (TM) doesn't like them)

Wild Witches would probably = Daywalkers in this sense. They can have covens, but in canon they're mostly hedgewitches, as the covens serve Lucifer. It'll be interesting having her make the connections.

I don't think Vanessa will care how chaotic she is unless she sees Eda trying to bathe in the blood of babies or something equally horrible. Torture/murder's even fine under the right circumstances. So, interest piqued!

Hmm, see, the general population doesn't know the Emperor is bad, though! They think all is fine and dandy and most follow the covens system no questions asked. Which makes Eda a social outcast, even if she is kind of the beloved town weirdo at the same time.
