Just a small heads up that some of our newbies will not be physically with the cast at sea, and will instead be working hard to secure entry for the incomers into the main Arc IV location, Serthica. But they'll be available on the network throughout!

THEIR ONE-SENTENCE ELEVATOR PITCH: Madman with a box! (said exuberantly, as such things should be right...)

THE SAME PITCH, BUT IT'S AN ENTHUSIASTIC FRIEND HOOKING THEM WITH A JOB/BLIND DATE: Nine hundred years of time and space and he's never met anyone who wasn't important. (I cheated a little because he actually said this to someone, but hey it works...)

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER RUIN FAMILY DINNER? Being naked and forgetting to project a clothes hologram onto guests' visual cortexes, making weird food combinations he insists everyone will love, obnoxiously enthusiastic dancing...

THEIR TV TROPE: Absent-Minded Professor, Accidental Marriage, Beware the Nice Ones, Chronic Hero Syndrome. And on and on with this one.

WHAT CAN YOUR CHARACTER BRING TO THE TABLE? He's incredibly smart and clever and he knows it. He's seen some things, you might say, being that he's a thousand-year-old time & space traveling Time Lord. He knows a lot, he's seen a lot, he wants to help, he'll insist upon helping, he's used to taking charge and leading in tricky situations. This version of the Doctor is, in his own words, the hoper of far-flung hopes, and the dreamer of improbable dreams; he's an optimist, so when all seems lost, generally, he'll be the one insisting there's always another one, and (generally) finding it.

WHAT ARE THEY UP TO? Brand new so I can't wait to see he gets up to!

CR/SCENARIOS YOU WANT: He's so new that I'm just excited for everything with him. He loves, loves, loves friends. He loves people. Even the worst of people, he believes the best about them generally until he's given reason not to believe the best and then he's a very bad man to cross. The Doctor is all about found family, he's protective and kind of tends to just latch on to everyone. He's clingy, this one.

I don't know what, but something with Vanessa! He's an adorable Time Lord and I want her to ruffle his hair~ She would not. But I want her to.

Yes please! He would be amused by the hair ruffling, though it remains a sentiment only.

I do think these two would be great fun, plus he'd be happy to dance with her. Don't dance with him Vanessa he basically just flails his arms around excitedly.

Look, he always appreciates an audience so clapping from afar is perfectly acceptable. But he'll also definitely try to teach her his...sort of drunken giraffe flailing dance. Sorry not sorry.

As an old Jack Harkness RP-er, it makes me very happy to see a Doctor coming aboard...

Alas (or probably for the best HAHA) Anduin is nothing like Captain Jack. He's a fellow "Beware the Nice Ones" troper, so they have that in common! They are probably in danger of being very Nice to each other, but that's not necessarily a bad thing (Anduin's argument).

The most common thing he says in dialogue scenes is: "There will be peace. One day." or "My whole life I have prayed for peace." I FEEL LIKE this is not an uncommon goal between them??? Perhaps they will find allies in each other when other people have more bloodthirsty approaches to what is being thrown their way??

Ooooh yes, that sounds a lot like the Doctor. He's so old now and (he thinks) at the end of his very long life, and he'd very much like to see the universe in peace when he goes. A far flung dream, but a hope of his nonetheless.

I'm very interested in having these two interact!

Wangji had CR with the previous Doctor who was of an entirely different version, which absolutely means I need him to get in your inbox. Doctors are delightful, and while I'm no where near the brain bandwidth to offer a scenario this second, I'll jump you at earliest opportunity and/or come back with something more concrete asap!

Oh splendid, he'll be very interested in hearing what his former self got up to! I feel like the next CR meme I'll have more concrete scenarios to offer myself since I'm just getting started here, but very excited to play and have this version of the Doctor meet Wangji!

I am… MASSIVELY not here right now. But I’d love to do something with these two after my triumphant return! Jon is a solid, loyal person with a lot of good intentions; I could see him being the main local person in a one-off Doctor Who episode.

This comment is so late, but-! I am so interested in throwing Five at the Doctor. He has some history with a previous version of a(n earlier) Doctor and never learned what his entire deal was. (He was Very Weird and not in a way Five appreciated.) But hey! As someone who has the power to control time and space they should absolutely find things to talk about. I'm excited to see what he gets up to. :>

The Doctor will enjoy meeting someone who met an earlier version of himself! He's still a total alien weirdo but much more charming this go-around (or so he likes to think anyway lol)! I'm looking forward to these two interacting. :D
