If he didn't think there as a chance she'd be useful, he wouldn't have wasted his time! His expectations are low, so she's very welcome to get him excited.

Someone who knows actual logic and doesn't lean on magic for everything, he never thought he'd see the day. Lock the door they have so much to talk about.

See, Five is open to teamwork, he just needed to find people who speak the same language. Everyone could take notes, but also don't bother them they're doing actual important things.
