So Moran is not just a science type, he's interested in literally everything and more versed in philosophy, political science, literature and also military arts because he's a general. Also once he advocated for genociding a good bit of his county's population so there you go for opposing philosophies lol

Moran can come off as arrogant sometimes, because he knows he's smart, and he's had to make hard decisions for a whole country before, but he's a nice enough person especially if you bring him knowledge!
