Time to give Xie Lian just a bit of trauma because the only spirit older than himself that he knows is that powerful is in fact the one who gave him the curses and that he killed before arriving here........

he'd probably feel a little like Bai Wuxiang to him, but he looks nice????

lmaooooo, happy to provide unintentional trauma. Wrath is not nice, but he's not evil either - more neutral/all about the balance so definitely no cursing anyone... and curses work differently in his world, I imagine, too

Xie Lian is in fact a ball of quite deep-seated trauma under a very nice, kind and gentle exterior... he's gotten over most of it but end of canon events have revealed to him that most of what he went through was part of a plan engineered by this Bai Wuxiang for ... reasons, and that has reawakened certain things that he has managed to Not Deal With for now.

(Also please imagine his actual power on the scope of like several nuclear reactors, just currently very tightly contained by the curse.)
