Awesome! We don't actually know the full contents of the book yet--at the present point in the storyline, players are only able to read far enough to learn the Speak With the Dead cantrip before the psychic burden becomes too much. But that would be a useful spell to have kicking around here.

And yeah, Astarion is... not super hidden, lbr. He's a pale, red-eyed, fanged elf and his collar doesn't completely hide the bite scar on his neck. Really in BG3 he only skates by for a while on the fact that vampires canonically can't walk in sunlight, and everyone knows that. So this guy must obviously be a TOTALLY NORMAL fanged elf.

Meanwhile, the player, who knows what Twilight is, is left sitting there like "when is this bastard going to start sparkling"
