WHAT ARE THEY UP TO? TRYING TO make life better in the Mouse House and not wanting to be back up in Serthica. He might also be able to recognize Licyn as a werewolf right off the bat since he's got experience with werewolves in his own canon if you're down with that, but if you're not nbd, universe differences etc etc

hahaha go for it! he'll probably note some differences, too: he's not cursed, for one; he's inherently magic to the point that he generates excess magic to overflowing for those sensitive to it; he has full control of his shift, whenever he so desires, and has two true forms (human, and wolf). lmk if there's anything else Alec might pick up on, i'm not sure how things work in his canon!

honestly he's fine with that reaction, he's mostly bummed there's no immediate solution because that's Freaky News that is Not Helpful in a world where magic is something greedily consumed, he's assuming a side effect of Serthica has made him less of a juicy target because of weird ways it effects the world around it
