Hi everyone! Welcome to Eastbound, where nothing goes as planned, and the caravan-chasing bear is taking its sweet time making a cameo.

Applications nevertheless remain open until 23:59 GMT, 2 April (Friday) for any further newcomers. They can join in on the fun at any point in time!

Please doublecheck your character is on the TAKEN LIST, when you have a second! You are welcome to consider canon any samples you wrote in the Sa-Hareth setting as part of your application. Note: transfer ongoing application sample threads to the Eastbound communities if you want any future tags to them to count towards activity check requirements.

Arche will do his absolute utmost to help! Probably with some amount of cranky admonishment/grumbling that unidentified undead ichor does not like to come out of fabric and he wishes the locals could stick to good old-fashioned bloodstains. Honestly Wangji being quiet would suit this little asshole just fine, they might even unexpectedly get along -- Arche would certainly have a lot of respect for his sword skills.

At least before getting his equipment and powers back he doesn't resemble an evil dark lord quite as much as usual...

That would be cool. El would probably just play it as he did the last impatient jerk he had to work with: frowning quietly. Though at that time, he didn't have other people to look after and this bean isn't going to let anyone fall behind, so probable calls for more patience on their behalf.

ELEVATOR PITCH FOR YOUR CHARACTER: Ery is a piece of an infinite being turned finite when placed in the body of a human. They gained their own sentience and individuality and they hate it. Their infinite self destroyed the world, however, and now Ery feels a little guilty about it too. It hates feelings. It's become a 'mother' to potentially the last witch of her kind, named Baby by Ery. And Baby may save the world some day.....

ELEVATOR PITCH FOR YOUR CHARACTER: Mina is... ah, a human. I promise. She has the power to create acid from her skin and that's why she looks like candy floss. She is 16 years old and a VERY excitable and energetic person, also extremely flashy which is great when you gotta LAY LOW. But in any case, she is VERY friendly and she wants to become a Hero, so she will be helping whoever wants and need help.

Mina is a child, why are you harassing a child, lady. No, actually!! Mina will be incredibly jolly and happy to help, to the point it's probably awkward to try screaming when the other person is clearly trying to do their best. However, if this lady is being too Karen even for Mina, chances are Mina will probably just ignore her because she AIN'T GONNA LET YOU BRING HER DOWN and is patient enough to let the lady tire herself out first - and once she does, THEN Mina will help.

He's charming, he fakes it until he makes it, and ready to make it into the necromarket because all y'all need funding and have you seen his bae? The one in all the silks? Look they both like lovely materials but uh. One is used to slumming it out of necessity. With whines. Lots of whining and creative problem solving skills. Also being hot and a hot mess at once!

A moment of dead eyed stare before he smiles nice and wide and meaningless and, "I see, I see," before passing along the train to the manager of the brothel, more than happy to act the ignorant fool as to not have to deal with this longer than he has to. Quite probably if there's a way to lift something off her in the process... he'll uh. Try.

Why would anyone think this man has naming sense? Probably Baihe.

ANY EVENT PLANS SO FAR? Haven't hit up the plotting post as I'm going in order, but I will toss him into escaping via the Salt Mines, where his biggest moments of learning will involve a. finding a ratty mostly white blanket and b. encountering zero supplies in the salt mines beyond half a barrel of oil and a lantern with a broken glass panel that keeps threatening to make the flame go out. Once at the brothel he's also going to be leaning into some boyish charm, by which I mean picking up extra odd jobs specifically of the kind where he's getting out of the brothel because he's got some light fingers and overall grifting to get up to, and somehow convince Lan Wangji to wear borrowed robes while getting his cleaned.
