hi hi hi! my name is kieran and I am also brand spanking new to Eastbound!! I'm bringing with me Cole from Dragon Age: Inquisition; he's a very friendly ghost who wants to help everyone feel better, and also might have been a(n unintentional) serial killer at one point in time.

He got better, I promise!

He's a rogue with a penchant for being sneaky, and as a spirit of compassion he's able to hear people's thoughts/hearts. He does unfortunately have a habit of honing in on things that bother or upset people and asking them about those things, but it's all in the spirit of trying to help people heal! Really! However, if you'd prefer he didn't pry into your character's minds, I've got an opt out/opt in post here. I promise my feelings won't be hurt if you use it, I just want to make sure I'm being respectful (unlike Cole)! He's currently coming from around the latter third of the game, just before Act 3 begins, and I'll be playing him as though his personal quest has not yet been completed!

Temenos is the party cleric, but he is best known for A) questioning the gods at literally all times, B) solving mysteries by going into his weird little mind palace, C) bullying his sidekick lovingly (?) and D) beating people up for information at night. He's very holy. Really. I promise.

Hellooooo hello, it is Val here, bringing you one Asano Rin (family name, given name) from my favorite gory seinen manga Blade of the Immortal, which recently had me in a bit of a death grip, so I thought I'd revive a very old muse for endgame shenanigans.

She's sweet, she's nice, her sleeves are full of knives. Because her one goal in life is bloody revenge on the killer of her parents, a goal which has been derailed numerous times but she'll get him yet, just you watch! Her main characteristics are being Bad At Swords but not knowing when to quit, a potent mixture which sometimes leads to her blowing things up and such.

She'll be coming to you from pretty late in the manga, towards the beginning of the last big arc, and she will be mad about this. However, she's always willing to lend a helping hand where she can.

Hi! I'm Gee, new to these parts but not completely new to some of you, and looking forward to meeting the rest.

I'm swinging in with Dr. Stephen Strange from the MCU, he's fresh out of Multiverse of Madness with his canon point being nebulously somewhere between the first two mid-credit scenes, a.k.a after he kneels down screaming on a crosswalk but before he meets his hot future-wife. He's a wizard! He brought his good pal - a flying cloak - with him! He's acquired a new desert child, a blob made out of worm slime and human remains!

Stephen arrived during the tdm so has been around through the desert crossing - if anybody would like to handwave some CR or plot in some little threads to cover that time please don't hesitate to hit me up.

Hello! I'm Solar, returning with this bean of light here, Eleven- the protag and Chosen One from Dragon Quest XI. He was here for awhile before- just over a year- and will be returning with his memories, though they will be a bit vague at first, then deepen with time and interaction.

His new canon point is from post-game, so previous acquaintances of his might notice he's a bit steadier and more self-assured than he was before. Saving the world from darkness twice will do that to a guy. ~~Also time travel.~~

He remains a friendly, helpful sort. His expertise lays in swordplay, forging, healing, while also a dab hand at farming, fishing, and foraging.

Eleven has a good track record of determinedly friending people in-game, and I expect that won't change at all. Hello fellow Eastbounders! This is Spider, bringing in a different rebellious clone this time, Kahl-175 from Warframe!

Kahl is a Grineer, a near-human cyborg clone from a race that's been exploited and enslaved since their inception--most people in the setting think Grineer are genetically engineered to be too stupid to rebel. But Kahl's one of the ones that shows how wrong that is.

Kahl looks and sounds like a brute, complete with fluency issues. But this obscures the fact that he speaks at least two languages, he's a quick thinker, makes friends easily, he can be sneaky when he wants to, and he'll absolutely trick people who assume he's too dumb to have any guile.

Abandoned by the army he was made for and put under mind-control by an alien force, Kahl has now escaped two different forms of slavery, and he's got a new mission in life to free everyone else. He'd rescued himself an impressive little found family before showing up in Eastbound, and he's not going to stop now! Congratulations, everybody: Kahl's adopting all of you, if you'll stand still long enough.

Kahl's been assigned to Eidris, as a dragon racer. This more than makes up for the fact that he left his jetpack at home. He also smuggled some fellow newbiews onto the train in the TDM, so if anybody wants to handwave an interaction there, feel free!

Hello, hello all! My name is Xae, and I'm bringing you Lila Pitts from the Netflix show The Umbrella Academy, that show about wannabe superheroes, time traveling, apocalypses, and horrible parenting! Lila is one of the 43 kids who were miraculously born all on the same day in October, and her superpower is mimicking other's powers so come on down to let me know if your character has one and if she can mimic it.

She used to be an assassin, who has plenty of training in a lot of different areas - including fighting, various languages (Chinese, Japanese, etc), playing the drums, and being a pretty calm character in the face of danger. I'm excited to toss her lippy, sassy, and somewhat emotionally stunted self at everyone here.

For anyone who knows the show, I've taken her from near the end of season 3 and while it's been out for a few months, she'll be fairly tight-lipped on all the big stuff.

Hello one and all, it is I, Spider! I've had Sergeant Slick here for a while, and I'm delighted to inflict a second character on you all: Astarion from Baldur's Gate III.

The first thing you need to know about Astarion is that he is definitely not a vampire. He can walk around in sunlight. Vampires can't do that! Yes he's got red eyes and fangs, but how do you know elves don't just look like that where he comes from? Please don't hold up any mirrors around him, he already knows he's beautiful. And no cooking with garlic when he's around, please, he's got an allergy. Ugh, do we really have to cross this running water? He hates getting his feet wet.

The second thing you need to know about this utter fop is that he's a vampire. Big shock. But there are some odd things about him. People with psychic senses may realize he's not alone in his head if they concentrate, but something will block them if they investigate the second presence. People attuned to spirits will pick up on the extremely haunted book he's brought with him. And those who can sense hellish powers may pick up a whiff of that on him as well.

...And anybody can sense that this man is a complete disaster. I've been having loads of fun with him in the TDM, and I look forward to more! hi all! it's sam (alina's player) bringing in a d&d oc of mine, Wicked Thistle

Wicked Thistle, aka just Thistle, has a complicated past and is currently seventeen. she was born a human child named Bessy, eaten by a hag, rebirthed again as a hexblood child (someone who will become a hag one day), and now she's been given a five year extension to potentially break her curse. Thistle is coming from having a little less than a year's worth of time left to complete her end of a deal with a tiefling or break the curse herself. she's feeling a little out of hope and defeated, so she tends to be a sarcastic little brat of a child resigned to her fate.

additionally, Thistle will be arriving with her hell hound companion, Fluffy. Fluffy has been charged with bringing Thistle back to the tiefling when the five years are up, but during that time the pair became bonded and now fight and live nearly as one together. so who knows what the hound is up to anymore...

anyway! the pair of them will be arriving on the malfunctioning beacon soon and will be very confused. but hey, there's a bright side here somewhere right?

Hi everyone!

My name is Elizabeth, and I’m bringing in Jon Snow from Game of Thrones… specifically, from between 7x02 and 7x03. Jon is 24, has been King in the North for a few months, is preparing to fight an army of undead, and has been pulled from somewhere on his journey between Winterfell and Dragonstone. He is slightly undead himself, whoops, so that’s going to be fun. (And for those who are canon-blind, think "genuinely good medieval hero type, but with more psychology.")

Jon is coming into Taravast as an envoy of the Merchant, after a difficult journey of almost two weeks — a frantic ride during which he also had to be careful to avoid the retreating forces of the Huntress and the Beastmaster. You can read about that here. He will be staying in don Bonaccorso's wing of the Palace.

What does this mean to you? Well, first of all, something nasty has caught up with him outside the city during the last leg of his journey, along with a few of its friends. If 2-3 characters want to join him in fighting it, we can handwave that, but let’s talk about it here! If the large creature spills a character’s blood, they’re marked as quarry of the hunt, which will have future repercussions (you will need to notify the mod account). Either way, it’s a chance for a few of our characters to have seen each other fight, and we can do some “meet after the fact” threading.

Second, he has a key and a message for Wrath and Wen Qing, and will need to meet with them. This can also be handwaved if the players need it, but I've put it in his network post.

I needed to think about how to approach all this, but I’ve decided to go for a network post that can slip into action components. It is possible that I'll also throw up a log if we need one.

Hey all-! It's Sheep (Five's player) bringing in a second character in the form of Marcos Diaz from a little Marvel show called the Gifted. Marcos is a mutant with light/heat based powers + cool glowing blood/also goes by the name Eclipse. He's (technically) a fugitive who used to blind people for a cartel, but he found a purpose in life helping lead an underground community trying to save mutants facing a government crackdown. He was part of an organization that the X-Men helped set up, gave limited resources to, then promptly disappeared on with barely a 'good luck'. (Guess how well that went.)

He's also a recent father with Lorna, who will be joining him here! (Without their baby daughter. We're no more terrible than the show was to them, I promise.) He'll be on the Vannozza side of the house, assigned as a contractor to the Attaryl witches, specifically to sabotage the Bessis. Which comes with a salary and attendants, and is in direct opposition to his baby-mama, so you know. Great! Let's jump right into politics.

He's a little late for the CR meme, so please come at me with anything you'd like to get him rolling. He made an appearance on the TDM and he's crazy grateful for anyone who helped them escape, so he'll be eager to repay them. ...He's kind of an emotional guy, so be prepared... They say he has personally slain six foreign princes and kings, that he can severe a head in one stroke, and that his sullenness or silence are signs that your doom is certain. Many at court will be particularly helpful in hopes that they’re not his next victim. He will find he can easily influence politicians and gentry."

As if his siblings aren't already fun enough for you, this one has zero filter, a little bit of a drinking problem, and he's super tight with the undead of the ghost variety whether he likes it or not. Klaus can communicate with the dead, attempt some ghostly corporeal projection, and occasionally become a medium for the dead. He's not too keen on that. I'm sorry in advance for his general existence.

He's a good-hearted but surly kind of guy who's recently come to grips with the fact that he's spent his life on the wrong side of things. I've decided to take him from towards the end of the last season of the show, so he's gotten to tell off his father and had a life-changing field trip with Aang to discover the true meaning of firebending but he still has a lot of unresolved stuff to work through.

Except he's here now!

Zuko's not the best with people, he's got a short fuse and can be just, the most awkward, but he is trying his best to be a better person. He's a firebender, which gives him the power to create and/or otherwise manipulate fire, though given the circumstances he has been very careful not to use his bending since his arrival though I'm sure it'll come up sooner rather than later.

I'm Ryah and I am bringing to you all this magical idiot: Regulus Arcturus Black (you have to say the full name) from the Harry Potter series.

He died in his canon (a death involving magical undead, funnily enough) and then somehow miraculously ended up wandering the mines thinking he's now in a frozen afterlife. Then he was taken in ('held hostage' would be his description of events) by the woods' people who did shelter him and feed him until Karsa found him during the trials and gave him a rock.

So he's having a moment to consider what is this death!
