First lesson: stick them with the pointy end.
Hi everyone!
My name is Elizabeth, and I’m bringing in Jon Snow from Game of Thrones… specifically, from between 7x02 and 7x03. Jon is 24, has been King in the North for a few months, is preparing to fight an army of undead, and has been pulled from somewhere on his journey between Winterfell and Dragonstone. He is slightly undead himself, whoops, so that’s going to be fun. (And for those who are canon-blind, think "genuinely good medieval hero type, but with more psychology.")
Jon is coming into Taravast as an envoy of the Merchant, after a difficult journey of almost two weeks — a frantic ride during which he also had to be careful to avoid the retreating forces of the Huntress and the Beastmaster. You can read about that here. He will be staying in don Bonaccorso's wing of the Palace.
What does this mean to you? Well, first of all, something nasty has caught up with him outside the city during the last leg of his journey, along with a few of its friends. If 2-3 characters want to join him in fighting it, we can handwave that, but let’s talk about it here! If the large creature spills a character’s blood, they’re marked as quarry of the hunt, which will have future repercussions (you will need to notify the mod account). Either way, it’s a chance for a few of our characters to have seen each other fight, and we can do some “meet after the fact” threading.
Second, he has a key and a message for Wrath and Wen Qing, and will need to meet with them. This can also be handwaved if the players need it, but I've put it in his network post.
I needed to think about how to approach all this, but I’ve decided to go for a network post that can slip into action components. It is possible that I'll also throw up a log if we need one.

As of them, Sizhui can fight, he can try to come and help? He's out and about during the day.
Which raises the question, for people who are sensitive to live/spiritual energies, how much will Jon's 'slightly undead' register. Not that Sizhui would mind, if he notices.

Because Jon has not been resurrected yet in book canon (where I expect that a little more will be explained), the mechanics of his resurrection in the show are a little mysterious. It seems likely that it was probably achieved accidentally, through human sacrifice, since he doesn’t fit the parameters for “fire wights” that GRRM has laid out in an interview. I don’t know if that would make a difference. He definitely should seem like a live human person, but he has definitely briefly been dead in the relatively recent past (it was within a year of his pull point, and it seems like he was dead for about two days). Seems to me that at the very least, Sizhui would notice a strangeness about him.
Anyway, 1. He has cool scars, and 2. You must currently be level 25 friendship for him to want to talk about it, and that’s on a scale of 1-10.

Ah, 'he was dead and now is alive' - that's not exactly unheard of in the game, that's fine. Sizhui will probably not even ask.
I think Wrath's permissions might be relevant when you get around to things like that.Fite fite fite it will be, Sizhui might or might not arrive flying on his sword, it will be faster once outside the citadel.

This is Wrath. He's from a book series called Kingdom of the Wicked, and he's basically Satan. I'll be dropping him off at Jon's network post here in a moment so that way they can discuss the key thing. I'll add you on plurk too. I'm snowed on there.

This bean already has plot repercussions on him though so I don't think he needs anymore in way of being hunted. He fights with dual swords and fire/lightning magic, with healing abilities if they're needed.

I'm Elle and I play Emilia, she's sort of the Persephone to Wrath's Hades. She can summon fire and has her own very specific berserker button/temper, so I have a feeling they'll be crossing paths sooner or late. Welcome!
