Hi everyone! Welcome to Eastbound, where nothing goes as planned, and the caravan-chasing bear is taking its sweet time making a cameo.

Applications nevertheless remain open until 23:59 GMT, 2 April (Friday) for any further newcomers. They can join in on the fun at any point in time!

Please doublecheck your character is on the TAKEN LIST, when you have a second! You are welcome to consider canon any samples you wrote in the Sa-Hareth setting as part of your application. Note: transfer ongoing application sample threads to the Eastbound communities if you want any future tags to them to count towards activity check requirements.

It's never shown in his canon because TV drama, but I have absolutely played that in RP with him. Like him seeing the... sun.... rising... in the morning... groundbreaking. So I am absolutely up for him randomly seeing completely useless stuff.

(also the first time I played Dragon Age 2 was last year and I totally chose Merrill as my first romance choice)

though really the thievery makes sense given where they're starting from, and outside the brothel the more so to nod toward "thanks for the crash space"

... but yes please make bank heists much, much easier on all of them, not attracting attention would be preferable even if they end up with inaccurate wanted posters

okay so also a man interested in how the undead work here, come, speak with him, blood isn't how his abilities function but it certainly can be a powerful immediate draw

maybe they can. braid her hair in such a way to cover her ears too, or use some kind of head band or wrap, hmm hmm

Merrill is far more interested in finding a way to link this version of necromancy to blood magic so that she can use it in other ways... There's definitely some heeby jeeby moral quandaries around it in her canon so it will be interesting to explore!

It's hard to tell but she does have a bunch of braids in her hair already...! It's probably too short to really cover those honkin' ears. Maybe some cute hats! Or just a dirty cloak in the meantime.

The more useful you are to him, the more likely he'll be interested in sharing. So yes, someone who will offer him alcohol and can help with the undead are two major points in his favor! See you can talk to ghosts and still be a functioning person, Five knew it wasn't so hard.

(Just don't expect him to you know... actually care about them, this is entirely for his benefit. Better not to trust him too easily, but he is awfully cute and small.)

And in his mind, there's nothing easier than a bank heist. He can do everything and anything so just keep the car running.
