HANDWAVERY: WHAT CAN OTHER CHARACTERS SPOT YOURS DOING ON THE DAILY? Obsessively writing notes and complex equations, yes he's still doing that... probably drinking......
DOES ANYTHING STAND OUT GROTESQUELY/HILARIOUSLY/WTFISHLY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER(S)? He does not impersonate a teenager very well, and when he tries he tends to overdo it. Most of the time he doesn't bother and talks like an old man, kind of walks like one if you pay attention. He also teleports whenever it's convenient, or mid-conversation whatever.

ICE BREAKER ROUNDS:

i. Your character is our last hope in the kitchens. Are we saved, are we doomed, is there excess spice, are you Xie Lian? Five is a survivalist, he knows what foods are safe to eat. Five also survived on cockroaches and whatever else you can imagine in a wasteland for decades. You'll live, but at what cost... (the cost is flavor.)

ii. Which awkward reddit forum is your character likeliest to end up on? Choosing Beggars/I-don't-work-here-lady/Bridezillas/MaliciousCompliance/ProRevenge/something else? He doesn't Internet.... but he'd probably get stuck on r/UnresolvedMysteries or something like this and seeing how many unresolved murders were him... like you do.

THREE TYPES OF CR YOUR WANT FOR YOUR CHARACTER (BE SPECIFIC), GO: actual enemies who see him as a real problem, anyone willing to treat him like an adult and take his crazy theories seriously, people who can put up with him long enough to see through his shit ??? (let's not call them friends). The whole spectrum I'm all for it.
WHAT WILL YOUR CHARACTER NEED AN EXTRA HAND WITH IN TARAVAST? This mess first and foremost. Help this guy who doesn't like to be touched but definitely needs magic surgery, it'll be fine. Make sure he doesn't murder anyone on the way out if they make him deaf or something, this is a real problem.

He isn't at all yet, but he fully intends on teleporting into some libraries and gathering intel about it. (He isn't planning on using it until he finds the rest of his siblings, who are for sure scattered here somewhere...) Way more interested in this than politics and he has his ways.

He's also not above pretending to be someone's kid if it disarms someone into telling him what he wants to know. It works... sometimes.

Teleportation is so nifty she's kind of jealous Wrath won't take her anywhere smh. I think she'll zero in on the beacon herself if you want them to end up exchanging notes or stumbling upon each other midway. She's on Team Vannozza with Allison, so that's an easy in.

He doesn't know what he'd do without it, he'll teleport three feet to get around a couch in his way. If she's lucky and it benefits him, say if they need to disappear to not be caught consorting with each other, he might show her sometime! And that's a very easy in. He would be interested in her notes and also wtf do you know about Allison... this is now partially a screening conversation. (And you know. Explain Wrath if you have a minute.)

It comes up! He's had many convenient parents here lmao. He would deny it, but it's practically his go-to move any more.

They will need more than a minute to explain Wrath, but she has 'em. Emilia thus far knows little beyond harpies and helping Allison create chaos by matchmaking Odile with someone else. Now I'm imagining all four of them in the same room at the same time. Can a room fit all these strong personalities? We'll one day need to find out.

eeeeeeeeee, guh I love all that you're doing with Five. I'm still so excited for this CR and to see what comes of it. They're going to snark/size each other up all the time, I feel like. He is very interested in how Five will fix his magic problem/curse. Wrath will be all up in that Necromancy, gaining disciples and stuff so y'know. I'm sure they'll run into each other again through all of that if Five goes the necromancy route.

ahh thank you and same, I'm already enjoying Wrath so much. Their CR could go any which way, which is exciting. Five is definitely going to be weighing his options and the necromancy route is the most traumatizing/might make him cause a scene afterwards (like I said, if he wakes up deaf). /UNSURE

It might take him time to get there, so if Wrath already has disciples by then lol... how did this guy show up and figure out what's wrong with him, then have his hands all over this shady necromancy operation room?? Does that mean he should blame him or owe him something??? These questions.

It really could go any which way at all, and I'm excited for all potential directions, and omg for real ;o; that WOULD be the most traumatizing. If Wrath was there, he could help with the scene caused afterwards. He would also warn him if those necromancers don't that this kind of magic, at least in his world, have a consequence... but also that leaving the mirror inside of him would also have its own consequence so y'know.

LOL he's going to gather disciples relatively quickly... so oops, I can definitely see that happening. Five rolls up, and Wrath is already there amongst the dark magic users, teaching them and learning from others of them. I MEAN, probably both. >>"

There are several routes open to us! (Wrath being there also might make him angrier??? Wouldn't that be hilarious.) Five really knows jack-all about magic, it's a source of endless frustration for him because he's supposed to know... everything... and he's embarrassed for this whole situation really. Is it a curse, a weapon against the undead he shouldn't give up, or what. He has so few people who know about these things.

I could see Five scoping the necromancers out before he comes to any decision, find Wrath, and demand all the answers. FEELS LIKE A SETUP.

Any which way is gonna have a lot of awesome stuff in it. /DIES Wrath is also used to knowing everything so being in this whole new world/setting has been... unsettling for him. BUT he does know all about magic and demons and hell and things like that.

Wrath made a hell of a first impression by being 100% right about everything, so I can completely see him jumping to conclusions about him. It's starting to be a problem that he keeps getting surprised by magic, and having more of his family here makes it more urgent, so I'm sure that will all combine to great decision making.

Excellent! Five is definitely going to be doing this. Now that things seem... calm... he can finally focus on this mess he's been leaving on the back burner. Wrath confirmed enough for him to consult with Fox, who is also going to point him in this direction probably. Seems fine!!
