CHARACTER(S) & CANON(S): Lee Chang from Netflix's 'Kingdom', and Fox, an OC!
WHO THEY ARE, THE ONE-LINE ELEVATOR PITCH: Lee Chang is the ex-crown prince of Joseon (c. 1600 Korea), a survivor of a zombie apocalypse, committed treason to overthrow corruption and ended up faking his own death. So, you know, he's got no where better to be (a joke).

Fox is a mage from modern-day magic Toronto, Canada, and is obsessed with learning and discovering new magic. He talks a mile a minute and has basically two interests: magic, and Mingyu.

HANDWAVERY: WHAT CAN OTHER CHARACTERS SPOT YOURS DOING ON THE DAILY? Lee Chang spends most of his time oddly quiet. He trains every day and if asked will give sword lessons to other members of the party. He does not talk about his past much, beyond his experiences with the "plague" as he refers to it. He will not admit to having been a Prince, though he is pretty obviously brought up in the court. Gets sick of the same food all the time and will pettily toss it on the fire if he's had it too many days in a row.

Fox spends all his spare time thinking, planning, or executing magic, and can most often be found scribbling away in his notebooks. While he is pretending to be an idiot with elevator music for thoughts, he will sit and agonize over how bored he is and try not to fidget constantly.

DOES ANYTHING STAND OUT GROTESQUELY/HILARIOUSLY/WTFISHLY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER(S)? Lee Chang at this point has collected an elaborate set of furs to go with all the silk the courtesans gave him when he first arrived, so he looks a little like someone in the 40's who just got access to a lot of money and the fur pelt industry.

Fox has magic tattoos all up his arms, shoulders, and around his ankles.

You're doomed. Neither of them know how to cook. Fox forgets when he starts boiling water for ramen and destroys pots. Lee Chang will demand you cook instead.

I am trying to remember if canonly Xie Lian does get drunk... he probably has a lot more tolerance for human wine that mere mortals, at the very least.

I'd love to hit up Fox about magic shit at some point! Five needs advice from someone who isn't Satan idk. There is an issue he needs to deal with.

And sidebar, if you want someone who can make it super easy to break into anywhere, just... hit this guy up. He's all for getting information about the beacon, there has to be books on it somewhere in there.
