Sorry that was unclear -- I MEANT literally just the start of the encounter, obviously the thread goes however it goes! I was thinking between two options like, i) He is playing up his persona of 'diplomat and master orator' somewhere spinning some tale that subtly trashes the opponent and all, she overhears, and thus when they engage he might keep playing up the role a little as they talk! Which might make him seem mysterious and potentially pompous and annoying. ii) She catches him out-of-role maybe helping some people in the market, he might try to backtrack a little but yknow she's seen it so has an initial impression of him as 'someone who'd help people whose lives have been trampled by undead'.
Okay, cool! I'll spin that up and send you a link in a little later tonight or maybe tomorrow morning -- I just got home from work and I ate way too much food so depends how much I come to regret overeating noodles.

I like option two. Anyone who she sees helping others will immediately get her notice and if he's out of role, that makes her look at him more.
