Listen, he's no Lord Voldemort so cold-hearted execution in the square isn't something Hermione can condone, but on the other hand he can just succumb to his illness slowly in a cage, hopefully with undead nearby to hound his mind and every waking moment left. This is fine.

Public trial is definitely the best idea to calm the people. Bloodshed leads to more bloodshed. Dany doesn't want any killing unless it's necessary. Arrest him, try him and let the new government dispense justice.

The Doctor would agree with you Hermione about arresting Bonaccorso. Outright murdering a man, even some one as evil as him, simply won't do. He will be loudly vocal on this point for all the good that will do.

Does Bonaccorso deserve to die? Yeah, for sure. Does he deserve to get immediately and irreversibly murderated? ...Also possibly for sure.

Does Xingchen really trust the justice system here or at home or anywhere because he's learned that people are unfortunately corrupt and very often not actually concerned with justice? No, he really doesn't these days, but he's gotta stay true to his stupid heart, okay.

Anyway, even if a trial happens and it ends up being a farce, Bonaccorso should absolutely die of old age LIKE NORMAL PEOPLE DO. Keep his grubby hands out of soul-fondling tyvm.

I know that this is technically not an IC vote but Anduin cannot honestly condone an assassination. He does agree that Bonaccorso should be removed from power but also agrees they should immediately hold some sort of trial or vote as to who should replace him. Otherwise, they are leaving a power vacuum at the top and he knows from experience that no good ever comes of such things...
