Anduin has an ability that can dispel all harmful magic and disease (but not curses, if that's what this happens to be...)
If he were to try and use it to ward off the lighthouse getting into his/someone else's head, could that work? Or does he need someone to slap him out of it like everyone else?

There is a thrall / compulsion regarding the lighthouse, but it's related to everyone being uniquely drawn to something in there (which hasn't manifested yet/will be part of the update).
If Anduin's ability works like the equivalent of tossing water in the face of a drunk man to snap him out of it please don't do this, then it could temporarily work. But if it's actively only working against malign magic — there's a self-preservation element in the way the Thing That Will Not Be Named is behaving, but you wouldn't call that evil, I think.
