TROUBLE AT SEA

Marcos will be hopping in a boat with Lorna probably (??) so there's room for more. He has fun heat/light powers, so guess who has an extra easy time keeping your candles lit. He could possibly do it for a nearby boat if they are in dire need and close enough. Also handy for keeping his boatmates nice and warm. Your own little portable heater/flashlight.

He's going to be too friendly to the castaway, giving his name easily to try to get them to calm down. He wants to help... That will likely be a situation, but nobody warned him.

AHOY, LAND

He's going to be going around, seeing who needs a hand, and trying to focus on tasks so everything else doesn't freak him out. He'd be very down for helping Enam find his plant to thank him for guiding them and maybe learn a little more about him/this place.

THE SILENCE GAME

While wearing the suit, he can't really use his laser hands. (Unless he takes the gloves off.) So he's slightly hindered when it comes to fighting. I'm very for something happening and him using he uses his powers to rip the suit accidentally while trying to help someone/if the mermaids attack. YOU KNOW whatever comes up, these things happen.

/vague hand gestures!! I'm here for anything. If you need a flashlight, warmth, or someone sane to talk to come to Marcos. Events in Taravast really got to his head, so he wants to force himself to look forward and find purpose. He's doing his best.

I can offer Dany for a mermaid attack and him ripping his suit. There's the option of a dragon rescue with the mermaids, if that's something you would like?

Absolutely, any of the above! Ripping/melting the gloves in the heat of the moment is a very likely thing. It might not even be an accident when it happens, just retroactively does more damage to the gloves than intended. (I just imagine him struggling to get them off and saying 'screw it' to help someone lol...) Offensively his powers are great for range attacks, so he can scare off some mermaids no problem.

That sounds like a good plan. Then she can witness him scare off the mermaids and what might happen with torn gloves.

If only they had some duct tape! Marcos probably won't be the only one in need, they should have packed extra suits. He's going to have some gnarly looking gloves once he gets them back together.

He'll just distract from his sewing emergency with many dragon-related follow up questions.

okay but what if marcos gets "jumped" by mermaids, moiraine helps him out but o no his suit is ripped. and bc there's more mermaids they tag team with his laser hands too until they can get to safety c:

Yes! Mermaid attacks seem like a great way to meet people. Marcos will be so grateful for the help and will forget the importance of not ripping the suit immediately if there's more to fend off. He can also do flash bomb type attacks if blinding them seems like a good idea, but it's easy to tear things when you can't see...

Why are these suits so easy to rip and why didn't they give them more to patch them up with?

He really appreciates it! He's really more of a welder, and his hands aren't great at sewing after being exposed to air that makes them decay after 15 minutes... ahah his main form of defense, it's fine he's fine about everything that's happening this day.

Another fun thing about Marcos (that I definitely didn't forget) is his blood is luminescent and super heated when exposed to air, and will burn him because why wouldn't it. Please sew quickly because that could be a whole thing if he bleeds... and causes more burn holes in the suit it's just a mess waiting to happen.

Of course he'll answer her questions and try to lighten the mood during this horrifying event. He's just a ball of sunshine, so sorry for the trouble. Really cool what you did back there! Let's talk about that.

He takes what he can get, as always. But he's also going to be too nice to the obviously undead friend who joins them, so... he kind of got in his own way in this case.
