CHARACTER(S) & CANON(S): Anduin Wrynn (Warcraft) WHO THEY ARE, THE ONE-LINE ELEVATOR PITCH: Soft pacifistic healer priest who also happens to be High King of the Alliance; he really needs a nap. He was given a plot to murder donna Rigarda as his intro quest and apparently as a result of his failure to follow through the Merchant has forced the party on this little detour... But I also want to have him help one of the undead and try to save them bc I feel like that is very IC so Dany is going to smack some sense into him RE: that. He is going to be doing exploration and encounter Xie Lian and the hole in his suit (and hopefully heal him). He is also going to be available for dispelling the pull of the Lighthouse on your mind (so far he will be doing this for Dany and Sansa) though it's limited to 2 people a day and only for 30mins. Also rescuing Wrathion bc he would get himself into trouble.
He's available for further shenanigans (healing, exploring, frowning in concern)! I have been busy the past few days, but I'm planning to throw him at other people on the log/put up a top level soon!!
ICE BREAKER ROUNDS: i. What skills does your character urgently need to pick up? Uhh, how to relax maybe? And just have fun? Not that I suppose he isn't CAPABLE of doing this but 99% of the time Anduin is carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders and I'm not sure that he's really ever had time to just be himself, and not Prince Anduin or King Anduin Wrynn or the High Commander of the Alliance.
ii. Do the ends justify the means for them? He can understand how one might think so, but no. Never. He has to believe that the Light will always find a way.
iii. What would they do to everyone's favourite red gear, given five minutes and a dark alley? Likely make certain that none of it has any holes. Kind of a boring answer alas but if they need it again he wants everyone to be safe...
CR THAT WOULD DRIVE THEM UP A WALL, BUT YOU WANT ANYWAY: People who push him? Back at home he has a whole council of advisors who argue with his opinions and his decisions and he Needs this but it also really irritates him. Also people who criticize him for being too soft... :( Also I do really want someone to find out about the whole King thing sometime...
CR THAT WOULD BRING OUT THEIR MOST SPARKLING SELVES: People to help! People to heal! People to have Discussions with! Anduin is a curious person, a little nerdy, Very Soft, he wears his emotions and his heart on his sleeve.
WHAT DOES YOUR CHARACTER BRING TO THE TABLE?? - Good Boy Kindness - Gentle and noble (he IS a King) - Caring and considerate; let him fuss, he enjoys it - Smart! Curious - Also surprisingly sassy - Big Sword - HEALING with the power of the Light (it's very showy)
HELLO YES i would love either of these things but i think boat conversations sounds especially nice since they’ve got the excuse to do nothing but talk and keep their candles lit??? shall we have gentle boat conversations?? c: i haven’t gotten to throw a top level together yet but i could toss anduin at yours, maybe?
also i have only seen half of the first episode so far of her canon, tell me more about what makes it amusing haha
so her world is a v light vs dark deal where the light comes from the creator and the dark from the dark one. aes sedai (trained channellers like moiraine) are believed by most of the population to be darkfriends because of things that happened 3000 years ago but they're actually on the side of the light. their "magic" or power is actually from the light but the male half of it was tainted by the dark one (and any men who do channel end up being corrupted and going mad from the power if other aes sedai's don't stop them first).
so to have anduin who not only has power but power of the light amuses me because it will concern the heck out of her for now. (moiraine's still new to the idea of different systems of magic and that men who can magic are actually fine here!!!)
Yen has him covered on the pushing and criticizing (maybe even lovingly sometimes - she's capable). I can also see her figuring out that he's of noble blood and title by being in a few different courts.
Between that and random conversations I can see Yen inadvertently treating him like something of a sister figure.

are we going to keep their introduction thread as canon? should i keep responding to it or would you like to start something new with this new setting, even if we do say that they met that way?
he NEEDS criticism and he also needs friends, yen please give him both he will be there for you 100% ;3;
Her arrival ended up with her waking up in the water with her injuries fully healed and being rescued by Enam, so I think we may have to start anew, sadly. She was trying to portal out and ended up in Taravast briefly and then Wrathion's boat and puked all over his boots. ANYWAY.
THAT IS OKAY it was good practice for things to come! i can toss him at her top level and we can start new maybe? is there a particular scenario that you think might fit between the pair of them, or should i just see what speaks to me the most haha? c:
I'd really love that. I was thinking of adding a prompt for Hamsour off my main top level. Maybe he catches her off in some corner trying to conjure up another portal just to get sick/suddenly become so weak she can't even stand?
