APRIL CR MEME
Salutations! Just a few notes before the main event:
- ■ we're a tighter crew than originally anticipated for April, following some hiatuses, so we'll be adjusting this month's calendar timeline. We'll have a check-in below if anyone wants follow-up, cues or clues, or has questions about what they discovered in the latest & greatest. We'll have a think about a second check-in in late April.
■ Don't forget your NPC threads, if you signed up for one! Generally, please share any interesting discoveries that have emerged from them or from plot rolls with the entire group — a creepy network post a day keeps the... doctor away and gets everyone killed.

THEIR ONE-SENTENCE ELEVATOR PITCH: tired mutant loyal to impossible causes who will always do the dumb thing for his family
UNUSUAL PRODUCT THEY’D REP AS AWKWARD BRAND AMBASSADOR: solar powered heated gloves are apparently a real thing, so that!
HOUSING: #6 (with Su Xunxian, Wrathion, Chu Wanning, and Viktor)
FREQUENT HABITS: Since the last TDM, he's prone to wandering around the village and the woods looking for anyone he recognizes. Generally trying to make the village safer to combat his curse, so he inserts himself into confrontations easily to try to keep the peace. Pretty regularly seen chatting up the locals to establish connections. Constantly sneaking visits to Lorna's house, or sneaking her into his, because this is what they do. He also likes to weld or work with his hands whenever he needs a stress reliever.
WHAT HAVE THEY BEEN UP TO LATELY? He went with that group who had a traumatizing experience with a tree in a cornfield, so he's been very concerned about the evil water (evil trees??) he doesn't know but it's extremely freaky. During that episode, he really became aware that his sloth curse needs to be dealt with before he fails to do something important. (He can take the stiff limbs, but when he starts feeling apathetic around things that are this crazy, something is very wrong.) Add to this, seeing the group returning from the volcano and what followed, and he's jumping at anything that sounds promising to end their curses and get the hell out.
CR THEY NEED:
- proactive CR who want to make positive changes to get him out of his slump
- those he can trust to share information and who have ideas to where they can find out more, through (almost) whatever means
- he's weak to anyone who has inhuman features, and he's eager to empathize with anyone with powers generally
- broadly: characters who remind him that he's a father and/or have parental issues
CR THEY PROBABLY DON’T NEED, BUT YOU DO:
- CR that he can argue with, especially if they go too far and he doesn't agree with their methods
THREE THINGS YOU WANT THEM INVOLVED IN:
- He's invested in the dark water plot, so he's eager to figure out what it is/if it's really trapping souls in trees or wtf he saw.
- I'm really into him sympathizing with the Huntress and dealing with that whole mess if anyone wants to dig deeper into that.
- Atoning via keeping the streets safe: this is vaguely a plan that could use some firming up. He also very much wants to help others with their curses because they're starting to really be a problem.
