WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?

♦ Really struggling with her barely-contained sanity since the Unwinding. What was a vision and what was real?
♦ Since Lan Wangji's post, Vanessa has been trying to 'reach out' to foxchild!version of Hyang-Won(is that his name???) using her clairvoyance. Please don't possess her, guy. Don't mind her lurking around bridges and staring off into space.
♦ On the saner end of things, she is trying to avoid depression by taking in 'the arts'. Gone to a little concert hall a few times. Soaking in the music, any local poetry she can find, etc.
♦ She has begun sneaking over to Eidris occasionally because she is sick of her droid and wants to see dragons. Watching from afar, though.
♦ Since she's an heiress, still suffering the occasional suitor and overprotective droid. Stifling af. These men are boring.
♦ This gal needs more to do. No wonder she's going crazy.

CR/SCENARIOS YOU WANT: ( If your character is magically-inclined or of the demonic/nightcreature variety, I'd appreciate a little comment to her permissions post on how you want them to perceive her/be perceived by her. Can also say if you want to do anything with her clairvoyance, even if your character is normal. )

♦ Re: trying to reach out to/rescue the creepy kid in the fox mask, she may be plotting ideas with The 11th Doctor (still threading), but someone else will be needed to actually do anything with it beyond communication (if they even get that far). Maybe someone who can create portals, or amplify others' abilities? Give me your ideas! Theoretically, Vanessa has the ability to 'summon' some entities from between realms and hellscapes, but that treads a dark path that she isn't ready to take for no good reason, and in canon I have only seen it used with animals/insects. Not sure if anything can be done with this idea, anyway, but it's a fun exercise to try! Assuming it doesn't end in possession or demon portals or time travel paradoxes or something. But what if!
♦ I'd love for someone to take her shopping or to something just generally shiny in Eidris, to show her around. Something fun! Which then will probably get dramatic or melancholy, oops.
♦ Would love for people to learn more about her, uncover some of her more ominous mysteries/her past.
♦ On that note, would love for her to scare/unsettle someone with her clairvoyance, or some scenario that requires violent Verbis Diablo. That last one would have to be something dire.
♦ Or scare her back! Not sure how, but anything is possible.
♦ She needs more people to be soft with! Let her hug and comfort you.
♦ Likewise needs someone to encourage her to relax and let loose a little.
♦ More supernatural shenanigans! Check her permissions post if you are lookin' for ideas, and we can work out some mystical nonsense.
♦ I have been uncertain of what to do with her, so I am wanting for just about anything. Bring her chaos, please.

I miss this show, I absolutely loved it. With Vanessa and the Doctor having such amazing CR, I would really love for Clara to meet her. I think they both have two completely different ideas of the Doctor (possibly? admittedly I'm a touch behind on their threads) that would be so interesting to thread out. Ideally, it'd lead to fun, positive CR because I'd love for the two of them to hit some of the things on your list, like the shopping :D

The Doctor is definitely one of the Few who are very close to learning some ugly truths about Vanessa, that's for sure. At least he's better equipped than most. I also am eager to have her unravel more about him! Because he's a never-ending mystery.

Fun times. Soft times. Time breaking...times. They cannot escape each other's orbit! He has seen her with her hair (almost) down so he is already been marked as Dear Friend.

Honestly, yes. I feel like Vanessa and Emilia's lives and especially their magic can be rooted in pain so often that it would be nice to give them something positive in between the darkness. Nothing alarming to see in her future here, surely ...

I absolutely love Red and Vanessa's CR. They're so beautiful and cute. I can see her going to Vanessa for some advice on stuff at some point since Vanessa's one of the few who like knows... she's not human.

I also completely love the one thread we have done with Wrath and Vanessa so far - the dangerous kind of give and take, dance of knowing the other is dangerous, etc. It's v fun.

The CR between them so far is so different, I get whiplash. I love them both, I am definitely not complaining.

I also really hope Vanessa gets to see what Cerberus looks like at some point. NGL so does she.

I know we haven't gotten to do much, really, but I think I'm finally ready to ease back into things. Working on it, anyway! And I definitely still think she and River could have fascinating CR, especially as she seems to be getting closer to the Doctor.

For once, River is being all quiet about the Doctor again. Usually, post-Library, she doesn't care anymore, and she very casually announces their marriage plenty.

Also, I now have Sarah Bishop (I'll try to fill out a thing for her on your permissions post sometime today/tonight.) and I think they could have some very interesting interaction. Sarah's technically assigned to Eidris, at the moment. But she has her own canon's version of a sort of instinctive sixth sense that (in her canon) usually lets her identify witches, demons, and vampires + tell when other witches are lying. That's all optional here, of course. Which is going to annoy the hell out of her. But also, she's one of those people who just says what she thinks and damn the consequences. And I'm just like, what conversations.

I would absolutely love for Vanessa to get to know River better! Definitely would want to know about the woman claiming to be the Doctor's wife. Tell her THOSE stories, please~

Sarah sounds like she could be a fun shake-up for Vanessa, so all the yes to that, too. AKA just give me all your ladies let me embrace them.
