arc v: the vote

Hello, hello! Happy nearly-there-almost-end-of-the-year-we-sort-of-made-it! You've still got a few weeks of Silent Night cooldown ICly, but with the party set to progress onto Arc V in early January — you can cast your vote for our next destination!

This is an out-of-character poll, with one vote per player. Please +1 one of the two options below by 23:59 GMT on 27 December. You can also give a shout if you think your character might need accommodations for anything or want to brainstorm some specific ideas for them. Thank you!

ARC V OPTIONS

THE SIEGE

Enter and quickly exit a fortress in the last few weeks of its defences against brutal undead assailment. This may end up a shorter campaign of six to eight weeks.

SCOPE: discover the beacon and what lured the dead forth in droves. Help offensive and evacuation efforts, while a Ripper assassin roams the citadel.

’HIGHLIGHTS’: undead armies at your doors. Your citadel is literal Hell (?). Selfishness, survival, whispers in the dark, your shadow.
THE CHOSEN ONE

In the barren deserts, a charismatic, humble prophet calls every free wo/man to arms against the undead — heartening some citadels and threatening the interests of others. The prophet promises to summon mysterious help from a god, a voice, a comet...

SCOPE: hold the peace and uncover the source of the prophet’s allied strength.

’HIGHLIGHTS’: sand worms, temples, whirlwinds, poison, politics, wild magic, backstabbing a cult?
