technically i think they have the amount at minimum that is being "asked" between those funds but wei wuxian over here is plotting out how to make more because it's only a problem having too little when you also have zero connections of your own or resources of your own and thus zero pseudo-safe havens or HORRIBLE UNDEAD ENERGY FILLED AREAS PEOPLE AVOID to go hide out in, really unfortunate, this world situation of theirs

It's tough being the adults in the room all the time, naturally! Especially while you're dealing with puberty again, I mean it's really. The worst. Five is sitting on plenty of stolen coin, he just knows it'll be gone in a heartbeat if he lets on where it is. So. You know, piece it out, make sure they don't go broke etc. It's for their own good.

Wei Wuxian is on the 'capable' list though, for the mermaids and the adorable paperman trick, and someday we should actually have a thread. They can talk about money and how to get back their control of this runaway crazy train. I'm really determined about this.

It is, and he hates being the adult, because then you also get to deal with everything going downhill and having to keep standing up when the floor disappears from under your feet, so bothersome, so necessary! Also yes, just. Looks at funds, looks at who he's sugar daddying, looks at sky and mouths, "Since when was I that guy?"

Let's get a thread, let's do it this farm adventure! I'm seeking a few answers from the marvelous ruximus maximus, but the biggest fear Wuxian has is about to manifest between the wolves and the dog staying on farm with them: and I do mean the turns and runs and screams unless he hit the point of too scared to properly make noises anymore, as you do

But past that he even has experience with farming turnips (sobs) and wants to work on making talismans out of the books with pages he can repurpose in the library that Vanya doesn't want, for the sake of testing out which ones he might adapt to helping secure their situation better/what might also be marketable for their ragtag team of misfits

Relatable. Plans A-D never work. They will regroup when it gets to Plan E-F. Five would really like to not have to take a mulligan and go back in time, that usually destroys literally everything, so maybe let's make one of these plans stick.

Farm adventure, yes. Five can always teleport him away from the scary wolves if... all else fails. Like. If he runs smack into him he might. Just be prepared to be nauseous because that's a whole thing.

Survival skills are on point with this group at least! Five survived on cockroaches and expired canned food for decades in the apocalypse, so. I mean, that's not exactly farming, and he's not had the healthiest diet, but he has survival down pat. Would rather eat turnips.

He also wants to see those books though. Better tear them out in secret... those pages were always missing, see.

This is why we never have a shortage of backup plans even if we're literally making it up as the prior plans fail, it's fine, that's still planning right?

Oh no I love it, can he directly run into and cling to one of the shortest people here and then be grateful because the nausea is so much better than the panic/fear was?

Oh good, everyone's ready to survive by less than spiffy means, except for those who aren't. We'll just. We'll help them adjust!

So much planning. Take a look at all of Five's notes sometime, it's... really something. He just needs to work on including everyone on these things, but you know, still getting the math right etc. Wuxian understands I'm sure.

Payback for his help at the bank! That will square them right away. He's not going to be there every time though, so be more careful about these things.

All of this sounds fine. Between the two of them, everyone will be... saved.
