ELEVATOR PITCH FOR YOUR CHARACTER: She's a sun summoner, which means she manipulates the sun. Despite being so sunny, she can actually be a huge grump. She's trying to fight a war at home, so she has a lot on her mind. But she's a fiercely loyal friend when you get past her small grouchy self.

i. Your character has been patiently queuing for the past hour, when someone with no extenuating circumstances cuts in. How do they react? Silently seethes, talks about them behind their back. But if she's in a really bad mood she may make a scene.

YOUR LATEST SHOWER EPIPHANY THE WORLD MUST KNOW: I can't actually remember. It was either a terrible pun that made me laugh for a few minutes or some stunning revelation about the nature of family and work that was more depressing than it had any right to be.

CHARACTER: Wen Qing
CANON: The Untamed
ELEVATOR PITCH FOR YOUR CHARACTER: She's a bitch, she's a boss, she's not going to deal with your nonsense, and she'll look good doing it.
ICE BREAKER ROUNDS:
i. Your character has been patiently queuing for the past hour, when someone with no extenuating circumstances cuts in. How do they react? A glare and a polite but menacing request to move. If that fails, depending on how annoyed she is, the needles would come out.

ii. What job would your character most majestically fail at? Anything involving extensive amounts of paperwork, anything involving extended care of animals, and any customer service positions. She's also not the best gardener.

iii. What scent do you associate with your character? Cinnamon, primarily, but also fire/smoke, thanks to where she grew up.

WHAT’S YOUR CHARACTER BEEN UP TO, SO FAR? She's been kidnapped, rescued, and is currently trying to adjust to living in a brothel. Which isn't too weird, considering her life, but she's still a bit out of sorts because it's a lot.

WHAT ARE YOU ITCHING TO HAVE YOUR CHARACTER DO IN SA-HARETH NEXT? She wants to figure out what happened to her brother, and maybe reconnect with her cousin, and settle for a bit so she can figure out what is going on and where she is, exactly.

CHARACTER: Number Five Hargreeves
CANON: The Umbrella Academy
ELEVATOR PITCH FOR YOUR CHARACTER: (c/p from the last one, did I mention I'm lazy??) He's fun! Guy with the power to manipulate space and time, who got trapped in a post-apocalyptic world for 45 years the first time he tried to time travel (he's 58 btw). Then he got picked up by the Commission (basically the time police) and worked as an assassin before he figured out how to go back to stop the apocalypse and broke his contract. But he screwed it up and reverted back to his 13 year old body. That old story.

Still a semi-crazy and sassy little SOB who teleports everywhere. Zero problems with murder or telling you how much better he is than you. You definitely want him on your team.

i. Your character has been patiently queuing for the past hour, when someone with no extenuating circumstances cuts in. How do they react?
Are we pretending that isn't Five in this scenario? (Who has an hour!) He would teleport right in front of them, and if that doesn't spook them enough to back off he'd be happy to either a) ignore their existence or b) be condescending as all hell to explain how his time is more valuable than their life, and they're free to test that out. It depends on the day he's had.

ii. What job would your character most majestically fail at?
Excuse you he is a genius who can do anything. Except probably anything that involves talking to people... or relating to them... Can you imagine him being a psychologist? Or a doctor? Or a customer service rep?? And you definitely won't catch him mowing lawns or selling lemonade. These are all moot points because he looks 13 and child labor laws obviously exist here when he wants them to.

iii. What scent do you associate with your character?
Coffee.

WHAT’S YOUR CHARACTER BEEN UP TO, SO FAR?
Remember that time he talked some of you into helping him rob that bank? That was a whole thing. Remember how he didn't tell you how much he actually took and gave you all like 1K (and a few useless magic items) while he hid the rest because he didn't trust you not to blow it all? That definitely happened. Five amazingly tried teamwork a couple of times, it was wild.

He also briefly jumped on that crazy ship to get to his sister, but otherwise did not help anyone. At this point he's seen that most of you are actually pretty capable, so you obviously had it covered. (This is a compliment. Actually doesn't mind 2.5 of you!)

Aside from that he hasn't gone out much. Five spends most of his spare time trying to unravel what brought them here so he can undo it in case whatever-portals don't work, and taking notes on everyone around him while trying to get leads on his siblings. (Obviously there are people who know more and just aren't telling him. The most frustrated old-man-boy you'll ever meet.) Also still trying to fix that stupid broken briefcase. Your basic control freak stuff.

WHAT ARE YOU ITCHING TO HAVE YOUR CHARACTER DO IN SA-HARETH NEXT?
He needs to pull a Reggie and send everyone an invitation to meet him in some secure location so he can explain the situation to them. Knows you all have been talking about doing this. Or alternatively just talk over anyone who organizes a meeting before he gets to it. (Also probably stalking whoever talks to his sister. Sorry, Vanya.)

Vague plans! I'm open to anything. And if we talked about doing something you want to backtag or that I dropped the ball on, it's never too late.

Give Sizhui a few days to regain his memories and if nobody has told her, he will...

ELEVATOR PITCH FOR YOUR CHARACTER: When she was a baby she was 1 of 40-somekidsborn at the exact same time on the exact same day from mothers who seconds previously had not been pregnant AT ALL. Then an eccentric billionaire went around trying to buy them from people, and Vanya's mother was one of seven who sold her daughter to this weirdo.

Vanya grew up thinking she was totally normal and not special at all, whereas all her siblings had crazy superpowers. Turns out, she DOES have super powers and is likely the most powerful of all her siblings, but was so unstable and powerful that Dear Dad decided drugging her and wiping her memories of her powers was the better idea.

Anyway it didn't work out so great for anyone and Vanya has twice now caused the apocalypse when her powers go crazy. But she's better now! Probably! The running joke is hopefully she won't cause it a third time here.

Her abilities are many but mostly involve sound manipulation, and she's a p. sick violin player on top of it.

Also she's the twin sister of Five. Yes Five looks, like, 13 and Vanya is like 30. Yes Five is still taller than Vanya despite this. LOOK IT'S FINE DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT.

i. Your character has been patiently queuing for the past hour, when someone with no extenuating circumstances cuts in. How do they react? Vanya gets a bit miffed and is like, "hey, I was already standing here." Wondering if maybe the person just didn't see her.

Depending on A. the person's response and B. how fed up Vanya is that day, she might either let it go with a grumpy look, ooorr she might like, use telekinesis to make the person's pants drop or their phone explode or something like that to get them out of the line quicker.

ii. What job would your character most majestically fail at? Conflict resolution or family therapist.....

iii. What scent do you associate with your character? Paper, like pages of a well-read book. Also hay bc she had a brief stint as a farmer for a bit. Also I guess whatever violins smell like, like the polish on them and stuff??

WHAT’S YOUR CHARACTER BEEN UP TO, SO FAR? She's been on that slave ship and she'd really like to just lay down and sleep for like, a week, thanks. No more adventure. she's so tired of adventure.
