CR MEME | JUNE PLOT ROLLS
Hi, everyone! Two parts to today’s party:
Check out our latest plot roll & NPC thread options for June, for which you’ll receive full details on Wednesday, 22 June. You can sign up your characters for the quest of your choice until 18:00 GMT on 21 June.
- ■ We’ll need at least two characters signed up for a roll to carry it out. Quests that receive more than five sign-ups may need us to RNG a character who gets final call on any decision-making within the quest.
■ Try to be available to play things out with your quest-mates between 22 June – 5 July.
■ If you’re looking short on time in that period, it might be easier to offer support to characters who are leading a plot roll, without signing up.
■ Please share the information you get with the group at large through network posts.
As a heads-up for folks who’ve never done one of these — you may get offered follow-up quests, items or plot development because you helped out with a plot roll. You can always opt out of that.

CHARACTER & CANON: Anduin Wrynn, Warcraft
THEIR ONE-SENTENCE ELEVATOR PITCH: Soft pacifistic healer priest who also happens to be High King of the Alliance; he really needs a nap.
HOW THEY END A TERRIBLE DATE: WELL he's the king so he doesn't technically date. BUT he would also be too nice to be cruel. He would thank them for their time and bid them a good night or something generally pleasant and diplomatic, and just make sure to never repeat those circumstances again.
THE (SPITEFUL?) THOUGHT THAT GETS THEM THROUGH THE DAY: Anduin is a good boy he doesn't really do spite haha
WHAT’S THE EASIEST WAY TO…
...IRRITATE THEM: He's a pacifist, so implying that his ideals or that Anduin himself is too soft irritates him. Implying that he's young or inexperienced in any way irritates him. Being unnecessarily mean, cruel, or difficult. And if you are Genn Greymane, reminding him of his responsibilities to the throne :')
...EARN THEIR AFFECTION: Just be kind to him really, he's a good boy, it doesn't take much HAHA
...SHOCK THEM: HMM figure out his (badly-kept) secret, that he is a king back home
WHAT SHIP DO THEY MOSTLY HANG OUT ON? Most likely the Pariah, but he's also probably going back and forth between them as most others are.
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO? He's fallen prey to the mermaids and has needed to be rescued from going overboard a few times (thank you Alison :c and Astarion too, though that was less heartfelt lmfao). Being a priest himself he wants to know what's up with these priests that the crew has brought on board with them as well. Also he's been frequently in company with Wrathion, who he did not have a lot of time with in Ke-Waihu and he has missed spending time with (that's definitely all it is...)
CR/SCENARIOS YOU WANT:
- People that he can heal! He likes to feel useful, and his healing magic is his Speciality
- People that he can talk about Magic with, especially his brand of magic, which ties into;
- People he can talk to about being a priest and get into discussions about The Light, which is where his magic and healing comes from
- Fellow pacifists?
- People who are not pacifists that he can be frowny at? While healing them maybe? HAHA
- People who would notice that there's more to the nice light soft priest than meets the eye? He's a king! AND
- The canon point I chose for Anduin, he's beginning to crack at the seams and unconsciously call on Void/Shadow magic as well as Light magic. The more stressed and desperate things will get for him, the easier it may be for him to turn to Void magic, but it also represents a sort of corruption of his ideals if you will. THAT BEING SAID it would be interesting to push him further that way again in this setting, stress him out and take away his choices, given what we know of this place it doesn't seem hard...

ghost-bustingrituals for keeping ghosts away, both suggested by the priests themselves and also anduin's own light-magic priestly versions of rituals. he'll be up on deck and likely down below in their quarters as well since everywhere on the ship needs warding and protection, if that would maybe spark any potential nerdery about magic and things???IF SHE WILL BE BUSY ELSEWHERE THEN something else will come up i am sure haha

he's more a pragmatist and does appreciate avoiding fights over starting them so here's the laugh that a mercenary's on the side of "yeah it's better to avoid fights that don't need to happen"
he's also a magic battery, as in: if there's ever a time anduin needs a magic pull, licyn is species-wise able to have his "magic" called on/used by those who can do things with magic. it'd feel like life energy, but isn't harmful to him unless you consume it all and then that's bad BUT YOU KNOW

ALSO the magic battery thing is a good thing to know too 👀 anduin's magic works by channelling the Light through himself to do spells, but this costs him mana. if he can pull some mana-like thing from licyn, then he'd be able to do more/bigger magic WHICH could be fun. BIG SHIELDS, or BIG HEALS for example, or yk even like if he's used up his own battery and needs a top-up

i'm certain he will actually charm anduin, he has a soft spot for rogues wouldn't you know
as you know, i've signed anduin up for the priests/ghosts plot roll so he'll be doing rituals and making arrow mistakes and getting himself drained, but we 100% need to get these two together for something at some point!

i am definitely interested in both of these tbh haha, marcos #1 bc i feel like he and anduin would probably get along the most and anduin truly needs more friends here tbh. anduin is so soft and warm and helpful he is a good wingman to have!!! and the fact that marcos already knows about his relationship with wrathion... PLUS the light angle and the religious/priest thing is good too, anduin would he'd love to be able to talk about it with people who are interested in hearing about the light and his being a priest and everything, it's sort of his Calling but he feels weird going into it too much without an invitation. the church of the light is fascinating though, especially when you are a priest of the church of the light and also the high king of the alliance :')

Also double dates with Lorna any time, Marcos will make it so casual you won't even have to feel weird. He is the exact opposite of a high king (I mean he had nice things when he was in the cartel, but aside from that he was struggling), so that's a fun dynamic!
