How are we feeling about the whole memory loss thing when we go home? I go between plans to get around it, crying about how much I'll miss my friends, and trying to make our time together count.

It kind of helps that I believe we'll all find each other again someday. I guess I'm wondering how you guys deal when the crying hits?

I don't want to worry anyone. :( I just love you guys and wish I could remember even if it will hurt later on.

it isn't good that we don't remember, but i like to think that we'll remember our new friends somehow. such things are hard to forget, we'll just remember them in different ways, in our emotions and dreams.

THANK YOU. That's kind of how I feel??? Like I'll always feel a certain type of way when I see an owl or someone with super pretty curly hair. Or dream I'm on some crazy adventure with a super weird kid who is way too stressed about everything.

exactly! we might not be able to change that we forget, but we can go knowing we'll always take a piece of them with us no matter where we go or end up. try not to be too sad over it, make all the good memories to take on your travels instead!

Speaking as someone who forgot this place and everybody for so very many years, it sucks. There's really no way to get around it.

I try to enjoy the moment, cause nothing's ever guaranteed as it is, but that doesn't make it easier. I appreciate you prefer to remember even though it would hurt though. For some, they'd choose the ignorance is bliss option. I'd choose to remember too.

Yeah not knowing things only ever brings bad stuff. I like to make informed decisions. Sure, it'd suck to cry every night over you guys for like a year. I rather mourn and enjoy the time we had together later.

I could be some cool old Nani who tells stories about epic battles in Hell.

Yeah, it definitely doesn't protect anybody. You live with the pain, live with the knowing, live with the growth. People change you. Forgetting means you gotta do the growing part all over again.

You'd be the coolest Nani. And how many can even say they've got epic battles in Hell to tell stories about, or don't forget about setting time to right like we did at the last place.
