dior's blood is directly descended from god and canonically burns to ashes the vampires/coldbloods/wretched that rise from the dead. will her blood have any effect the undead in taravast?
...sounds potent. Let's do this. Don't kill all of them in one go, though, we might need one-two for later plotting. Maybe make it so you need a decent amount of blood to kill one? But sure.
hello! can you clarify what kind of tools newcomers arrive with in their pockets? for example, for people who cast magic in their canons using specific tools like for example a wand, would they keep said wands (hermione would never be anywhere without hers as a habit at this point) or would they be brought into Taravast without them and have to rely of procuring some somehow (i.e. steal, murder, i mean negotiations, or take it from an undead witch)?
tl;dr - i want to play a character that uses a stick to cast magic, do they keep the stick (thus making their escape relatively easy) or do they have to find a different stick?
So, I can give you two options, and it's all down to what you prefer to keep Hermione's struggle more realistic and how much you want her to struggle, to start with:
a. The magic stick stays with her, but she is warded within the cage room, so the magic stick is useless there.
b. The magic stick is not with her, but with some scrap effects in the cage room, tossed about because the guards truly do believe. It is. In fact. A stick.
Option c. no stick, buy one from Taravast later. Live that peasant life.
That's absolutely fine! And the option remains, if you app Hermione in and choose to have her investigation her magical opportunities, for her to also buy a second wand from Taravast as well. There will be some calls on her coin, but.
DEVELOPMENT - most gracious mod, assume a very lovely future-mother-of-bff tried to accio wand from wherever it rests in that guard box. can it:
1. yeet itself over 1.1. stabbitying some undead along the way with the force of a summoning spell and their not having eyes at the back of their heads to see it wooshing?
Sure, as long as Hermione is Accio-ing it within a reasonable range/in line with her canon abilities to summon the wand, I'll give you one undead to stabbity like that.
it's technically Lily Evans accio-ing it, in this situation. if not sufficient and hermione were to try with someone else's wand i think it would probably not do any undead damage on the way due to it being someone else's wand.
Hey so like do the tourists wake in the birdcage with all their belongings or have they been stripped down physically as well as spiritually? And if it's the former, are walking arsenals limited to a number of weapons this is very important okok
I get the sense I should be asking what the specifics of your character's situation are — how many weapons do they carry? Or is it a case of Fate/ Gilgamesh, where the caster can summon an innumerable wealth of magical weapons?
Nah, he's just a normie with access to A Lot. Going from memory, he has seven (two bows, a sword, a dagger, kunai, bombs, poison darts) plus other things that can be replicated elsewhere so I wouldn't worry about those, but they can be downsized if necessary.
So, unfortunately I think those would get picked right off him — you could prospectively have him keep some of the darts, as those are small enough to escape notice, if he stores them creatively.
They'll be within or just outside the containment room, once he's slipped down, though!
Once the newcomers meet up with the group searching around the aqueducts, it says the characters can go back through those to escape or go through the heavily guarded corridors of the tower.
I'm assuming the characters will be chased by the undead, and perhaps the guards, regardless which way they go, but am unclear on the situation for taking the corridors. Will the undead discriminate and leave the guards alone because they're on the same side or can ward them off somehow or will the guards be sacrificed to the undead along the way, as well?
Noe is definitely stealing a uniform either way, I just want to get a better picture of the rapidly expanding disaster zone.
Corridors: much more heavily guarded, and the undead are coming from behind you at first — so the sentries won't initially have the dead as their distraction, and will devote their time and energy to causing you grief. Once the dead are also present in the corridors, the greater width of these passageways will allow (and encourage) the Bessis to chase the creatures with fire. The corridors are also what the guests and guards will be overwhelmingly using, meaning you are likelier to become a casualty of Bessis burns or crowd trampling.
The aqueduct tunnels: the dark tar creatures are still present, and there are areas where pipeline segments are set in the great outdoors, leaving them more fragile and exposed to vibrations from the dragon's trashing. The corridors are also more claustrophobically tight in some parts — leaving you less physical space to fight, if you are chased, and not many places to hide. The aqueduct pipelines are, however, a 'known' quantity, compared with the corridors.
Long story short: either obstacle course has its pros and cons.
The undead are after everyone, including the guards, though they are particularly opposed to the Bessis and users of fire or fire magic.
1. would the necromancers react at all to having a vampire on their hands, since she would read as undead? 2. while in captivity, would she get the blood she needs to survive or would she just be given the same food as the rest and left to starve otherwise?
1. They'd be okay with her being undead — necromancy is practised to decent results in the Taravast neck of the woods. But the necromancers might be intrigued by her particular brand of undeath, since she's more than a simple resurrection. Engaging with the captives wouldn't be their immediate focus, but if you want to weaponise her status, you can have her barter access to particular resources (food? information? perhaps the approximation of a weapon?) by letting the necromancers prod and study her a bit. You can let me know if that's something she'd go for, and what she'd ask for in return.
2. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
Let's go with dealer's choice on that one. If you want to play her as getting a little bit of bloodlust and raging when she's out, go with forcible fasting. If you're keener on her being happy and fed, she can have her hemoglobin diet respected.

Up to you. I'm happy with any of them.
