Hi folks! You can find the October activity check (AC) and admin below:

OCTOBER ACTIVITY CHECK

AC is done in-house, and you do not need to do anything unless your character is listed below. Please try to use character tags for posts and logs you tag into — it helps track your activity.

Regular activity requirements are one of the following during the AC month:

■ a network post
■ OR 10 text/network-style comments across at most two threads
■ OR five log comments across at most two threads

Activity can be carried out on either the game communities or character inboxes.

In September, I couldn’t find sufficient activity for...

Comment here or PM @ groundrules until 5 October if you want to reclaim your character, or if they have September activity that was missed! In an effort to tighten up on AC requirements a bit, this is the last month when characters with two consecutive strikes can be reclaimed.

OTHER ADMIN

■ Our resident Eleven player has put up a COMMUNAL DRAGON RESCUE LOG, if you want to party and play out the beast smuggling until 8-9 October. Thank you!

■ A CR meme will go up tomorrow. Also, if you folks ever want to post OOC memes, floor’s all yours too.

■ The October calendar has been updated — it’s leaner until October to give everyone a chance to unwind from the bustle and pursue their own plots for a change.

Like if he offered his services as a healer/miracle worker? Given his role. Because he would totally do that to figure out what is going on and well, see if he can help given he is curious about their whole situation. >>" Now that I know what he is I know he is more powerful than I originally thought too so you never know.

Ah yes, the miracle-working once-upon-a-time magical elderly cat.

How could we. Forget.

Yes, sure, come in to spend some time with the told man.

Like Sansa Stark Alayne Stone, he'd be brought in to visit old man Bonaccorso towards the end of his confinement. He'll find the Doxe looking depleted, but recovering, able to speak and sit in his bed, though not stand. Bonaccorso is aware enough of his surroundings to exchange pleasantries and answer the handful of basic inquiries on his vitals that his healers ask — but he cannot sustain extensive conversation, and seems first at a loss over Wrath's presence, then distressed by it.

His chambers reek of thick incense and cleansing chemicals. Wrath can sense:
— residual magic in the chambers and linked to Bonaccorso: not an active ward or sorcery, but evidence that rites were performed at some point in recent days
— death, residual presence, attached to both the rooms and to Bonaccorso: three instances, if his powers let him discern that
— no demonic energy, exactly, some spiritual — again, residual.

In short: something happened in these quarters, but it preceded Wrath's interview with the Doxe. Deaths and rites took place in these rooms. Bonaccorso was somehow involved.

Especially with the two missing maids....... Will definitely share with the group!

Also before he gets this info out there, I know the original post about Bonaccorso getting sick and the aftermath, there was mention of the servants seeming in a daze. Would that appear to be a magical effect of some kind?

And finally, if one of the 'basic medical questions' that Wrath threw in there was like: How old are you?

How would Bonaccorso answer that? Just out of curiosity...

— Bonaccorso probably wouldn't even get to answer, though he'd supply the same info as the healers who'd rush in with the basic details: he's in his eighties.
