WHO THEY ARE, THE ONE-LINE ELEVATOR PITCH: Local Black Dragon Solves Reputation Problem By Murdering Family, Releasing War Criminal, Changing The Subject To Eldritch Beings We Should Fight Instead Of Being Angry At Him!
WHAT ARE THEY UP TO NOWADAYS? PLOTS THEY NEED HELP WITH? Brand new, on team Macaluso! Not sure he trusts anyone, but he does like meddling in politics -- any fellow Macaluso meddlers who want to work with a 'legal pioneer, diplomat and master orator' as per his identity hit me up. He's nosy!

ICE BREAKER ROUNDS:
i. Black Friday sales hit and the last item on your character's shopping list is getting swarmed by the masses. How do they secure the goods? Probably use a mixture of illusion magic and a little real danger to make everyone else flee screaming.

ii. Your character has been stranded on a long journey with a wailing baby whose lung capacity predicts a great future in the musical arts. Everyone is staring. How do they assert dominance? Begin telling the wailing child a terrifying tale in a soothing voice designed to frighten everyone else off.

iii. What hipster coffee order would your character put in, if they even knew what coffe is? Blackrock Coffee. Strong enough to sober you up, when required.


THREE TYPES OF CR YOUR WANT FOR YOUR CHARACTER (BE SPECIFIC):
- Fellow nosy trouble makers who love to pick apart a puzzle, even when it should be left alone. He loves to overconfidently dive head-first into danger! That's more fun with enablers or followers.

- Softhearted people to patiently see through his bluster and deflection and befriend the anxious person underneath. Wrathion talks a big game but he has a lot of trauma and unease you'd never imagine are there at first glance! Would love people who could help him learn vulnerability isn't just a weakness.

- Stubborn people who will challenge him and help him learn other points of view! He often assumes his way is the best way, but if challenged by people he respects he will listen! Eventually.

WHAT CAN YOUR CHARACTER UNIQUELY AND PG-13-INGLY OFFER?
If you max out your reputation maybe one day he'll craft you a fancy magic item!

MAYBE he might even shapeshift and carry you somewhere.... if you're very trustworthy.

This is going to be one of those kind of amazingly awkward relationships.

Yes, I think absolutely so! I meant to ask you -- I was trying to think up a first encounter for them but I'm not sure what works best. I think it depends how positive or negative you want it to be, since he'd probably be a little too good at leaning into his fake identity.

Let it go as it goes? Just toss them in a room together and we can see if it leans more negative or positive. Whatever you're comfortable with.

Sorry that was unclear -- I MEANT literally just the start of the encounter, obviously the thread goes however it goes! I was thinking between two options like,
i) He is playing up his persona of 'diplomat and master orator' somewhere spinning some tale that subtly trashes the opponent and all, she overhears, and thus when they engage he might keep playing up the role a little as they talk! Which might make him seem mysterious and potentially pompous and annoying.
ii) She catches him out-of-role maybe helping some people in the market, he might try to backtrack a little but yknow she's seen it so has an initial impression of him as 'someone who'd help people whose lives have been trampled by undead'.

Could possibly be buds, especially once Jon figures out the “anxious person underneath” thing. Wrathion is like a combination of a few of Jon’s best friends, so I imagine he’d find him exasperating and amusing at first. He’s reasonably compassionate about trauma when it comes out, and pretty good at taking people as he finds them.

I think he'd absolutely wind Jon up tbh, he likes metaphors and dramatic speech and can be a little patronising -- but we could always play into that then let Wrathion surprise him one day by turning up to have his back without a word. He ultimately does want to do the right thing so he'd help a person who needs it, especially if others he got on with better would be upset by Jon getting hurt.

Yes that last part sounds bad, don't think too hard about it.

She is nosy but not so willing to dive into danger. Sends him instead??? If he gets caught, she suddenly and publicly has no idea who he is. :D

Sansa also considers vulnerability a weakness (really just jealous of people who get away with showing it), so not so great at helping others with theirs. More likely to take advantage of it, the hypocrite.

Maybe, somehow, they can start off like AGREEING WITH HOW RIGHT THEY BOTH ARE ABOUT EMOTIONS BEING WEAK and eventually learn lessons together.





Hesitantly glances at calendar, how long do we think this game will run, would we have enough time for that......

For them to learn to be...vulnerable? Might have to bribe our lovely mod to run the game another 10 years.

His eyes will absolutely scare the daylights out of her at first, too, so enjoy that. Catch her mid-song which immediately dies on her lips. Then probably feel so bad about obviously appearing scared that she'll try to make up for it.

Slick is a stubborn one, and Eastbound gives him license to state his opinions without risking more treason charges, so I can definitely yeet him in your guy's direction at some point!

If Slick LOVES to voice his opinions stubbornly they should ABSOLUTELY have a stubborn exchange of opinions, where nobody ever wants to be wrong, because WHY WOULD THEY BE WRONG?

I think he wouldn't even notice it was going on, he's VERY prone to tunnel vision and being in his head, but he does have a very charming silky voice and he is charismatic and has great hair -- and he's TECHNICALLY a young adult so yknow

if you wanna be mad at him not admitting he's wrong and flustered about it too, I'm game to slowly wind Hermione up.
