Just a small heads up that some of our newbies will not be physically with the cast at sea, and will instead be working hard to secure entry for the incomers into the main Arc IV location, Serthica. But they'll be available on the network throughout!

She's very familiar with talking about inner demons, although accepting them for her is more about patting them on the head and then locking them in the basement...tossing them some bloody scraps here and there.

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER RUIN FAMILY DINNER? Being naked and forgetting to project a clothes hologram onto guests' visual cortexes, making weird food combinations he insists everyone will love, obnoxiously enthusiastic dancing...

THEIR TV TROPE: Absent-Minded Professor, Accidental Marriage, Beware the Nice Ones, Chronic Hero Syndrome. And on and on with this one.

WHAT CAN YOUR CHARACTER BRING TO THE TABLE? He's incredibly smart and clever and he knows it. He's seen some things, you might say, being that he's a thousand-year-old time & space traveling Time Lord. He knows a lot, he's seen a lot, he wants to help, he'll insist upon helping, he's used to taking charge and leading in tricky situations. This version of the Doctor is, in his own words, the hoper of far-flung hopes, and the dreamer of improbable dreams; he's an optimist, so when all seems lost, generally, he'll be the one insisting there's always another one, and (generally) finding it.

WHAT ARE THEY UP TO? Brand new so I can't wait to see he gets up to!

CR/SCENARIOS YOU WANT: He's so new that I'm just excited for everything with him. He loves, loves, loves friends. He loves people. Even the worst of people, he believes the best about them generally until he's given reason not to believe the best and then he's a very bad man to cross. The Doctor is all about found family, he's protective and kind of tends to just latch on to everyone. He's clingy, this one.

THE SAME PITCH, BUT IT'S AN ENTHUSIASTIC FRIEND HOOKING THEM WITH A JOB/BLIND DATE: A devastatingly beautiful vampire elf who knows how to have fun, and has a ~secret tragic backstory~

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER RUIN FAMILY DINNER? Seduces family, has dinner.

THEIR TV TROPE: Screw The Rules, I Have Supernatural Powers!

WHAT CAN YOUR CHARACTER BRING TO THE TABLE? He's a charmer and a rogue--in D&D terms, no less!

He's got some magic--sneaky telekinesis, illusions, charming people, putting them to sleep, lighting them up for targeting purposes, and just plain blasting them off their feet!

While he's a vampire spawn, the baby mindflayer in his skull gives him immunity to sunlight, and he can enter homes without invitation! Just don't ask him to go wading through a stream, or he'll get a terrible case of hotfoot. It also makes him resistant to psychic intrusion--poke around in his head, and he might poke back.

He's really pretty, too. Just, y'know. Thought I'd mention that.

He also has a Spooky Necromantic Tome with him--it's guarded by angry spirits that start whispering into the brain of anybody who opens it!

Also thanks to the results of the last plot, he's got a lucky white raven and a shitton of jewelry. As is only right.

WHAT ARE THEY UP TO? He is so thoroughly Done with nautical affairs. When not dodging giant tentacles--again!!--he's trying to covertly figure out if anybody in this mess can help him learn how to control the parasite in his head. It's been uncommonly quiet, but if it matures, then he's in big trouble..

CR/SCENARIOS YOU WANT: Personal plot-wise, anybody with psychic/mind powers would be interesting for Astarion to interact with. As said above, he's got two minds in his skull, one of which is very alien. Anybody who's sensitive to spirits and ghosts might also pick up on the necromantic tome in his possession, which he's had a difficult time reading.

Also, only two people know he's a vampire so far, despite his terrible job hiding it. This is hilarious, and I'd be totally down for any shenanigans around vampirism.

On a more general note: Do you want someone to egg on your character's bad decisions? Astarion can do that!

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER RUIN FAMILY DINNER? He won't do it himself, but somebody else will inevitably bring up that time he hit on their grandmother when he was eight years old and he will plead with you all to please just forget that he has grown past his childhood cringe.

THEIR TV TROPE: Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass.

WHAT CAN YOUR CHARACTER BRING TO THE TABLE? Knight with a cursed spear made out of a dead dragon, also uses magic (mostly fire and light, bit of healing). Surprisingly intelligent, like, inventing magical guns on the side intelligent. Someday will single-handedly broker lasting peace with the gungho fantasy vikings.

WHAT ARE THEY UP TO? He'll be in the new batch that's separated from the main team for a while, sighing that he's straight into another situation that's just designed to force him to reveal some actual competence.

CR/SCENARIOS YOU WANT: He's new, I want it all. But, some possibilities:
- Due to canon point he is not the levels of shameless manwhore that fandom loves him for, but if someone's receptive, he'll still flirt with them no matter who they are.
- He's from a society with shittily restrictive social issues, and is one of the many people who want to fix things, so if you have experience on mass social reform or on defusing ancestral wars, tell him everything.
- He is prone to generally acting like the easygoing big brother to anyone in proximity, so if you need a bro, come get it!
- His combat skillset basically amounts to "mounted lancer who also nukes things with fire magic," so whether you're a knight or a wizard, he can probably talk shop.
- His spear is a cursed relic made from dragon bones that glows ominous red when in use. He does not know the dragon bones part, admittedly, but I mean, look at this thing.
- He's one of those "cover up massive trauma with smile and black humor" types, so he will probably be a tough nut to crack at first, but if you're pinged by the restrictive demands of noble title/heritage, families trying to murder each other, or deliberately underachieving because you hate people expecting things of you, we might want to chat.

Anduin can tell him about magic too. Demonstrate his healing powers or something haha, it's based on prayer and his belief in the Light, I'm sure Jim would Love It

I'm pretty sure Sylvain will manage to get himself punched by the time the rest of the group arrives in Serthica, but she is going to remind him so much of his dear friend and babysitter Ingrid that he'll accept that as the cost of doing business tbh.
